From our Founder & Director Donna Schoenherr:
This charity is comprised of my heart & soul, my blood, sweat, & tears. It has not been an easy journey setting this up, running it, managing it, working with other organisations and venues! -believe me- This was/is a labor of love, and created to be a living legacy to my father Gerard E Schoenherr, who passed away 10 years ago today.
He had Advanced Parkinson's and had fought it, lived with it, and outsmarted it, as best as any one could for nearly 30 years!
I know all too well how this condition can devastate people's lives, and my goal was to bring relief, joy, acceptance, health, wellbeing and inclusion to thousands.
We are getting there!
This could not be done without our brilliant team of Teachers, Volunteers, and Board of Trustees!

plus my family, husband, and my friends.
I thank everyone wholeheartedly. You all know that I will continue to drive forward with strength and fortitude and will not give up!
Thank you also to all past & Present supporters, donors, and partners!

Yesterday, inside myself, I dedicated our Saturday MiW class, led by our brilliant Lead Teacher and pillar of creativity, skills, and brains, Beatrice Ghezzi and our lovely new teacher, wonderful singer, dancer, performing artist Rosie Williamson. It was a complete joy to know how wonderful our work is and how much it helps people with their wellbeing.
Now after 11 years, our unique programme also helps people living with many different mobility issues and neurological issues as well. These include amongst others: balance problems, ME, MS, Dyspraxia, Long-Covid, mental health issues, pre-and post Joint Replacements, Post-stroke, and Stiffness.
Here is a dear photo taken of some of our members, helpers, carers, and MW team after class along with some of my father, mother, and myself.
Cheers to what we have accomplished! My father would be smiling from ear-to-ear and moving along with us.
