Behind the scenes, they play a vital role in shaping our direction, sharing their expertise and helping us make the right decisions for the future. We couldn’t do what we do without them.

We’re also delighted to be partnering with Ealing & Hounslow Community and Voluntary Services to host our Trustee Matching Event later this week, bringing together local organisations and people who want to give their time and skills to support their community by becoming a Trustee.

We’re looking forward to meeting both experienced volunteers and those curious about becoming a trustee for the first time.

🤝 Last week, we brought together partners and stakeholders for our Preventing School Exclusions Network Event.

💬 It was a valuable opportunity to create space for open, honest conversations - to listen, share experiences, and reflect on the challenges facing young people and their families locally.

✨ What stood out most was the importance of working together. Preventing exclusions isn’t something any one organisation can do alone - it takes collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to change.

👥 This is just the beginning. We’re looking forward to continuing these conversations and working collectively towards meaningful action that supports young people to thrive.

Productive session at last week's Ealing Children and Young People Practitioners Forum. 📈

Our focus this month was on strengthening the infrastructure of Ealing’s VCFSE sector. We were joined by colleagues from Ealing & Hounslow Community and Voluntary Services, The Questors Theatre, and Ealing Council to share resources, funding insights, and partnership opportunities. 🤝

A highlight of the forum was the dedicated space for member feedback. At YEF, we believe in a member-led approach, and the insights shared will directly inform our 2026–27 training and support offer.

Thank you to Michael Eppy and the team at Questors for being such welcoming hosts! 🎭🙌
