Crossroads Young Carers Cowal & Bute Crossroads Young Carers Cowal & Bute supports Young Carers throughout Cowal & Bute Some may not know that they have a caring capacity. Charity Number SC-012956

Crossroads Caring for Carers has successfully been awarded BIG Lottery funding through the National Lottery to support children and young people aged 5 to 24 years who are young carers. Young carers could be supporting parents, elderly relatives and siblings with a variety of needs. Crossroads Young Carers project has been set up to support young carers throughout Cowal & Bute, through one to one

support, advocacy, after school clubs, activities, training and residentials. Crossroads Young Carers,

What a fantastic few weeks our Young Carers from Cowal and Bute have had celebrating Carers Week 🩵🎉

From delicious pizza nights 🍕 and friendly pool games 🎱 to creative crafting sessions 🎨 and plenty of games 🎲, it's been wonderful to see everyone having such a great time 🤩

As always, a HUGE thank you to all our amazing young carers 👏 You are kind, you are dedicated, you are wonderful ❤️💛🩷💚🧡💜🩵

✨️ This Carers Week, we're shining a light on the amazing young carers in our community and this year's theme: "Helping to Build Carer-Friendly Communities".

Being a young carer can mean helping to look after a parent, sibling, grandparent, or another family member who needs extra support. Alongside school, hobbies, friendships, and everything else that comes with being young, that's a huge responsibility to take on.

We want ALL young carers to know that your hard work, kindness, and dedication do not go unnoticed. The support you give every day makes a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do 🫶
