Dromore Branch Dromore Branch was formed in 1925 - but unfortunately, the Branch folded in the late 1970's.

In Dec 1998 the Branch reformed and still going from strength to strength.

🕊️ 100 Years of Remembrance 🕊️

Today, Saturday 19th September, marks exactly one century since the unveiling of our local War Memorial.

To honour this significant milestone, we held a small act of remembrance at the memorial at 11:00 AM this morning.
We were deeply privileged to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Michael Harnett to the commemoration. Mr. Harnett is a relative of the late Mrs. Margaret Alice Waring CBE JP, who originally performed the unveiling ceremony on Sunday 19th September 1926.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today to ensure that the memory of those who served and sacrificed continues to be honoured across generations.

🚀 OPERATION: FUN DAY IS GOING STUPIDLY WELL! 🚀

If you hear heavy breathing and the sound of branches snapping down in the square, don’t panic! That’s just our President and Chairperson working up an absolute sweat to clear the area for Saturday the 19th! 🌲🪓

👀Rumor has it they’ve traded their official titles for "Chief W**d Pullers" and "Masters of the Mower" today. They are working very hard to make sure the grounds are completely clear, safe, and ready for an epic day of kids' activities. 🏃‍♂️🏰🎈

Give them a massive shout-out (or bring them a latte) if you see them! 🥤

🚨 Branch Outing Update! 🚨

We had a fantastic time exploring the Irish Military War Museum! 🎖️🪖

There is so much incredible history and so much to see. Sadly, the museum will be closing its doors permanently in just a few weeks, but it is well worth a visit before it officially closes.

If you haven't been yet, we highly recommend checking it out while you still have the chance!
