🎭 HELP US MAKE NEXT YEAR’S SHOWS EXTRA SPECIAL! 🎭

Driffield Musical Theatre is a not-for-profit community group, passionate about giving everyone the opportunity to shine on stage, whatever their age or experience. 💛

To help us raise funds for next year’s shows, we’re looking for donations of tombola and raffle prizes! 🎁

We are working hard towards this years show, Dick Whittington, but we never stop thinking about next year!

Whether you’re a local business able to donate a voucher or product, or someone with a suitable gift to contribute, every donation makes a difference.

Every penny raised helps us put on our shows, support our performers and keep the magic of community theatre alive.

📩 Can you help? Send us a message if you have a prize to donate!

Thank you for supporting local theatre and helping everyone have their moment in the spotlight. ✨

🎭✨ A HUGE thank you to Do It For East Yorkshire! ✨🎭

We are absolutely delighted to share that Driffield Musical Theatre has received funding from the Do It For East Yorkshire grant, helping us invest in new stage lighting and upgrades to our electrical infrastructure!

This funding is going to make a huge difference to our productions, giving us improved lighting capabilities and helping us create even more exciting performances for our audiences.

And you won’t have to wait long to see the difference… 👀

🐱🎩 DICK WHITTINGTON IS COMING!

Our brand-new pantomime is coming to Driffield this December, and we’re already hard at work behind the scenes in rehearsals!

This year’s production is shaping up to be bigger than ever, with a larger cast than we’ve had in previous years — and we’re especially excited to have our DMT Juniors joining the adult cast on stage! 🌟

With a bigger cast, new lighting capabilities, plenty of panto fun, and lots of hard work going on behind the scenes, Dick Whittington is going to be a fantastic show for the whole family.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information about tickets, cast announcements and behind-the-scenes updates!

💡 Thank you again to Do It For East Yorkshire for helping us make these improvements possible and supporting local community theatre.

We can’t wait to switch on those new lights and show you what we’ve been working on! 🎭✨

P.S. I am not sure why the ‘A.I content’ label is popping up- our posters are and have always been made entirely from scratch by a human!

🪡 CALLING ALL SEWERS! 🪡

Love to make things? Want a good reason? We are calling out for any people with some free time and sewing skills to give us a big hand with our pantomime costumes for this year!

We have lots of things to make from giant rat headdresses, dame costumes down to the simple beauty of circle skirts for our chorus!

We at Driffield Musical Theatre are entirely not for profit, any money we make we put straight back into bringing more shows into the community and giving children and adults the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends and get in the spotlight!

If you think you can help, whether it be donating sewing supplies, fabric or giving us some of your spare time, please send us a message so we can chat about how you can get involved!
