Final plead!! We have a miserable amount of 2 bikes so far a member till the end surely we can rustle up some more bikes 🥲…The family of Mick Fink have invited a group of say 5 or 6 riders to follow the hearse from his home in Hornsea to Lelley Fields Crematorium. Others wishing to attend can go direct to the Crematorium.

The funeral is Monday 12th October, 2.30 pm in the Oak Hall, at Lelley Fields Crematorium, nr Preston, with the Wake at The Railway Inn Ellerby. Any riders would meet at the house at 1.45pm.

Quite a few things this month:-

Tour de Moors - Sunday 4th October
Most immediately this coming Sunday 4th October is our last run of the season. The 'Tour de Moors', organised by Dudley, we start from The Tea Pot at Fimber 10 for 10.30 and the run is to Goathland for lunch and then back. Dudley tells me it's a new route this year. This is a popular run, lets hope the weather is good. Any queries contact Dudley on 07592 035482
Michael Fink - Funeral Monday 12th October
Sadly I have to report the death of Michael Fink of Hornsea. I don't think he has ridden with us for some years but remained a member. His funeral is Monday 12th October. His daughter is looking for some riders to follow the cars. Can anyone do this? Or alternatively if you wish pay your respects by attending the funeral, Nichola Clark has already said she will be there. As the funeral is the day before our meeting we need to put arrangements in place beforehand, contact me for further details which I will pass on when I have them.

Winestead Heritage Weekend October 10th & 11th
Our member Nigel Carr has passed on an invite for any interested members to display bikes at this event, see the attached poster. Contact Nigel on 07779 599370. Or go along and visit, sounds a good day out.

Club night is Tuesday 13th October 8.00pm Dog and Duck Inn. I believe we have a quiz courtesy of Glen.

Breakfast Meet is Tuesday 27th October, 10.00 am onward at the Bainton Stop Cafe.
