This weeks meeting is an Escape Room on Wednesday 10th June at Puzzle Escape, Revenue Building, 11 Church Street, Dereham, Norfolk, NR19 1DJ. Working in teams, you’ll solve clues and puzzles to beat the clock and escape the room. Please arrive by 6:45pm for a prompt 7:00pm start.

This is a paid meeting and will cost approximately £15–£20 per person, depending on attendance numbers. Cash payments are preferred where possible.

Last weeks meeting was a talk by West Norfolk Police. A big thank you to Alex for taking the time to teach us about policing, especially rural crime and how we can better protect ourselves and our property.

It was a really informative and interesting evening, and we all learned a lot. Thank you for your time and support.

This week’s meeting is on *Thursday 28th May* and will be taking place at Downham Market Police Station (PE38 9BQ) with a talk and demonstrations from West Norfolk Police 🚓

The evening will include:
• Police officer roles & kit demonstrations
• Hands-on sessions with tasers, stingers, handcuffs & riot shields
• Vehicle pursuit tactics & tyre spike strip demonstrations
• Drink & drug driving demonstrations with roadside testing
• Rural crime & theft prevention demonstrations, including tractors from Ben Burgess showcasing forensic marking systems

WOW… what a night! 🎉🍾

On behalf of everyone at Downham Market Young Farmers Club, we just want to say how grateful we are to everybody who attended and supported our Charity Ball on Saturday evening 🙏

From the packed dancefloor, fundraising games, awards presentations and atmosphere throughout the night - it really was such a special evening and we’re incredibly proud of what was achieved.

Events like this simply would not be possible without the support of the many local businesses who sponsored the evening, donated raffle prizes and supported the event in so many different ways.

A special mention has to go to Dave at Norfolk Sound Systems for supplying the lighting, sound systems, TV screens and uplighters which completely transformed the venue and created such an incredible atmosphere throughout the night👏

We’re also hugely grateful to David & Jon at The Farmhouse at Fincham for all of their support hosting the event and helping bring our vision to life 😊

A huge thank you also has to go to all of our members, advisory members and club president Danielle, who all worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the last few months to make the evening happen. From organising sponsors, collecting raffle prizes, decorating, setting up, creating floral displays, selling fundraising games and clearing away afterwards - the event simply would not have happened without everyone pulling together as a team ❤️

Most importantly, the evening helped raise money for MND Association, Swan Youth Project and also support the future of Downham Market Young Farmers Club itself.

We already can’t wait to do it all again next year 🥂
