Little Titch ♥️

The smallest hoglet on Tina’s litter of 3 .
Weighing only 62g he was so far behind his siblings we brought him indoors to handrear.

9 days of round the clock syringe feeding later and he’s up to 81g and just starting to lap for himself . Keep going Little Titch .. Vanda & Colin have given you the best chance …

Konstantin, he is just a gorgeous big boy. He was admitted with lungworm, cap eggs, and ringworm.🫣
Just look at him now, a picture of health 😍
Konstantin, loved nothing better than eating and trashing his room! 🫢
He is well pleased he is going home to his garden.
We love him, but we are so glad that he gets his freedom, good luck Konstantin 😘
P S : we might even miss tidying up your room every morning.... 🤣 💙💙

Tina 🥰
It’s been emotional recently.
Tina who came to us from the vets heavily pregnant gave birth to 3.

At nest check time it became apparent something was wrong.
One hoglet was far too small so brought indoors immediately for hand rearing . A few days later and Tina was behaving strangely in her maternity hutch causing us to check again and very sadly one of her hoglets was deceased . The remaining little one was brought indoors weighing 124g .
Tina is now indoors here having had sample checks and she’s started meds so 🤞🏻🤞🏻 we can get her back to full health .

So … Large Marge .. can you guess what happened earlier this week 🤣🤣 Bless her she’s enjoying the large mother and baby ...

So … Large Marge .. can you guess what happened earlier this week 🤣🤣

Bless her she’s enjoying the large mother and baby pod she has and having some precious me time away from her new family.

The nest won’t be disturbed for at least 10 days now so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 she successfully manages to raise her little ones.

Morning again… yep she cleans out everyone else before me so I might just watch to see if they get anything I don’t.

Nope all smells good to me oh she has arrived in front of my accommodation so
I’d better go back to bed pretend I’m being a good hedgehog 🤣 night all ###

Time to go home Ted you hunk! 💪
Weighing 1053g.🥰
Ted has been treated successfully for all the usual parasites and now is going back to his garden, where he will be wined, dined and housed whenever he needs it.
He has been the most pleasant guest with us. 💙
Take care Ted and have a happy hedgehog life 😘

Lucky D ♥️
And another fantastic outcome .. can’t beat the happiness /satisfaction of releasing .
Lucky D stayed with us for 30 days and blossomed into a handsome, fit & healthy chap.

So very rewarding.. from a very poorly hypothermic 472g to the gorgeous lump of prickles weighing 915g you see in this pre release video.

Huge thanks to Jeni for bringing her to
me so quickly.

She has a huge appetite for food and life ! She is thoroughly enjoying hotel life and is up to 175g already.

Lovely Dixie 🥰
She’s such a quiet sweet soul.
She has recovered well from her parasite burden and checked out weighing a wonderful 851g in a wonderful wildlife friendly garden with access to easy food and water year round . I’m sure she’ll be a ‘hit’ with the local prickly population .
