Dorchester Youth Council

Dorchester Youth Council Dorchester Youth Council are proud to represent the views of young people of Dorchester. DYE has run many events in the past that you may have heard of.

We work with the Town Council, advising on what young people might want or need, as well as putting on events, supporting good causes, and running our own campaigns. We also run many campaigns and consultations with important groups and organisations to improve the quality of life of people in Dorchester and the surrounding areas. Are you a performer looking for a stage? We've still got spaces for our Open Mic Night at Vinyl Van!

We're welcome all types of acts, including bands. If you would like to perform in a 10-minute slot, please sign up by heading to the link in the comments.

FREE entry to perform or just come along and watch!
This event is for under 18s (including performers), and strictly no alcohol is permitted.

Anyone from ages 13 to 18 is welcome to join. No booking required.
Doors will open at 5.30pm, Film screening starts 6pm.

We're teaming up with Dorchester Youth Council again to host another U18 Open Mic night. The date is Saturday 28th March, 6pm - 10pm and if you'd like to take to the stage, then email Connie at the Town Council (details on the poster).
