Hello,
We've had lots of people asking us recently if we support ALL children and young people with SEND or just those with Down Syndrome?
When we were founded in 2017 our main aim was to support young people with Down Syndrome to develop their social skills and ensure that families didnt feel isolated. However, over the years we have realised that living in a rural area, there is a huge demand for all SEND needs to be supported. Three years ago we decided to become as inclusive as possible and opened our support to ALL SEND families!

💖 This allows us to support those that may be socially excluded.
💖 Prevent isolation and promote Inclusion
💖 Provide activities that promote development in social skills and friendships.
💖 Support ALL families that may require professional help with education and benefits.

Your child doesn't need to have a diagnosis and we always encourage families to include siblings when booking our activities

Wimborne Community Theatre is offering creative people living in the area an exciting opportunity to be part of new inclusive, site-specific community theatre production. Staged in a rarely visited part of the Kingston Lacy estate from 21st - 27th September, the 'Home' Show will a Landmark project within Wimborne’s programme as the chosen Dorset Town of Culture 2026.

Come to the WCT practical workshop on 20th May. If you join the group then, you will get the chance to participate in an exciting residential weekend course (29th & 30th May) with the nationally and internationally acclaimed Wildworks on how to make exciting theatre in the landscape.
