🎉 Congratulations to Dianne on Completing Her Warehouse Training and Securing Employment at NEXT! 🎉

🌟 Fantastic progress from Hailey over their first three weeks at Aspire to Be!

They have shown great knowledge of the retail sector and have demonstrated excellent skills in moving and handling, confidently manoeuvring retail equipment and applying effective cleaning methods.

We have also explored how to use a price gun, and Hailey successfully demonstrated their ability to use it correctly. Hailey is always very attentive during the session, and they always ask a question if they need more clarity on something.

Another employment success story! 🎉

Following completion of her training programme, Emma secured a four-week work trial with B&M which has now led to paid employment.

Emma told us, "Aspire to Be helped me build my confidence and develop the skills I needed. Without that support, I don't think I would have got the job. Now I am working, I can save up for driving lessons."

This is a fantastic example of how confidence, skills development and employer opportunities can help people achieve their employment goals.

Rahma has successfully completed her Adult Social Care Training!🎉

Following this, Rahma recently attended an NHS recruitment event at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Ready to take the next step in her career, she is now actively seeking employment.

Sima has been attending Aspire To Be for the last few weeks and is currently working on her Retail units. She has been very attentive, eager to learn, and always willing to give new tasks a go.

Sima has:

🏷️ Practised changing prices and pricing items correctly on the shelves
📚 Learned about the Pyramid Principle

Sima is enjoying learning new skills and especially loves working in our simulated retail areas, where she can gain hands-on experience.

Our Team team recently took some time out to celebrate our rebrand together over lunch.🎉🍰

As a small team, it was lovely to come together, enjoy some delicious branded cupcakes, sweet treats and goodies, and receive our new branded lanyards.

The afternoon was a great opportunity to reflect on how far we've come, celebrate our shared achievements, and look forward to the future under our new brand.

Congratulations to Hannah for successfully completing her Housekeeping Assessment!

After several weeks of training in our simulated housekeeping environment, Hannah built her skills and confidence before taking on a full room assessment designed to reflect real working conditions. From tackling a room left in a realistic guest condition to even dealing with an unexpected spider in the bath 🕷️, she approached every task with professionalism and determination.

Here's what Hannah had to say about her experience:
💬 “I am very happy I did the training, I've learnt so much and new skills. I have become a lot more confident and understand how to clean a hotel room and bathroom. I have enjoyed the training so much, my coach Jo did an amazing job training me. I would 100% recommend, its helped me so much!”

We're incredibly proud of everything Hannah has achieved. She will now move on to our employability skills sessions as she begins her journey towards securing a housekeeping role.

👏 Well done, Hannah – we can't wait to see what you achieve next!

Hope has been successful in completing her Adult Social Care Certificate.

Hope stated she was "very happy with the training and wants to thank all the staff at Aspire to Be for their help and support". She is now attending job search every week at Aspire to Be and has been offered several interviews.

We're proud to share another positive training outcome.

Alan has recently completed his General Cleaning Units and is now starting work cleaning in schools

Before joining us, he had been out of work for a while and was feeling nervous about retraining in a new industry, but with the right support and training, he’s now confidently moving forward into employment

Alan stated "Best training ever would recommend anyone to do this training, very happy I came to Aspire to Be"
