🧶 Doncaster Crafters… we need you! 💕

Our Doncaster Aurora Centre is running low on the beautiful handmade items generously donated by local crafters, which help us raise vital funds for our charity.

Do you knit, crochet, sew, bead or carve? We’d love donations of handmade toys, keyrings, festive gifts and Christmas tree decorations!

📞 Get in touch on 01302 630515 for more information or to arrange a drop-off or collection.

A huge thank you to our talented local crafters for helping us make a difference! 💗

Yesterday our wonderful Doncaster Volunteers attended the Women's Wellbeing Event at the beautiful Corn Exchange in Doncaster.

It was a fantastic day and we spoke to lots of people about the services Aurora offers.

Thank you to everyone that popped down to say hello.

If you are interested in volunteering at events like these, please drop our volunteer coordinator an email at [email protected]

Huge thank you to Maria, Damion and Nev from Wabtec UK for taking on an incredible 50-mile challenge for Aurora Wellbeing 💜

From Manchester to Liverpool via the Ship Canal, Trans-Pennine Trail and River Mersey, they each completed their very first ultra-distance run, finishing among 601 participants with outstanding times and results 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Together, they raised an amazing £1,750 to support our counselling, wellbeing services, holistic treatments and emotional support for people affected by cancer.

Aurora was chosen after we supported a member of Maria’s family last year, making this effort even more meaningful to us.

We are so grateful for your determination, kindness and generosity - what an achievement! 💜✨
