Copeland Distillery are inviting local businesses, hospitality providers and community partners to join them for a Donaghadee Traders Meeting at The Copeland Distillery on Monday 5th October, 7–8pm.

Come along, enjoy a coffee on us and let’s have a conversation about how we can work together to drive more footfall into Donaghadee.

There is a huge opportunity for us to encourage people to come to the town, stay for a night or a weekend, enjoy our hospitality, visit our local businesses and experience everything Donaghadee has to offer.

To make that happen, we need to think beyond individual businesses and look at what we can achieve through combined activity, collaboration and shared promotion.

We’re asking business owners and decision-makers to come along, share ideas and help shape what we can do together to create more activity in the town.

The Copeland Distillery will be hosting the meeting we’d love you to be involved.

What an incredible example of Donaghadee community spirit!

Yesterday, Flavour First played host to Fashion with Purpose, a very special afternoon raising vital funds for The Gaitway Organisation, and we absolutely loved seeing so many local people and businesses come together to support such a wonderful cause.

From Joanne Moore from Got2HaveIt, who brought the fashion to life, to the team at Flavour First, Kerry Coey Tropic, Bow Bells, Sunflower Sandwiches, Bangor Ukes, Musical Bridges and so many more who donated prizes, products, time and talent, it really was a huge community effort.

And, of course, a massive thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, came along, shopped, donated and supported the event. Seeing a venue filled with people enjoying themselves while supporting an incredible local charity was something very special.

The Gaitway Organisation supports children and young people with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions, providing specialist intensive therapy and support for families. Every penny raised through events like this helps them continue and grow that vital work as they receive no government funding.

We’re very lucky to have so many brilliant businesses, organisations and people in and around Donaghadee who are willing to get behind a good cause. Yesterday was community spirit at its very best.

A little look at what was a pretty special Sunday… 🎥✨
