On behalf of Donaghadee Blue Banner LOL 781 in and our junior lodge, I would like to thank all the lodges and bands and all of the public who attended yesterday. It was a great day. It was an honour for Donaghadee to host the annual County Down Junior Orange this year with our brothers from JLOL 68 Portavogie, and thankfully the weather held for us all too. The lodges and bands were all a credit to their towns. Special thanks go to The Flutes & Drums, Donaghadee who walked with our juniors. They played fantastically from start to end. The family of the late Bro. Noel Weir would also like me to thank The Flutes and Drums for what they did in his memory. The bass drum touched their hearts. Noel played a big part in our juniors in Donaghadee. A great day was had by all. It was a great success for Donaghadee. We look forward to next year. The junior lodges are getting bigger. More young ones are getting interested, and this is great for the future of the senior lodges. On behalf of Blue Banner LOL 781 and our juniors, thank you to everyone who took part or helped in any way. And we would like to thank the Donaghadee Fife and Drumming Club for providing the entertainment at the field.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to L.O.L 241 and L.O.L 836 for their assistance. I also thank the Junior Grand Master, Junior Grand Security and the Worthy County Master for their dedication and for presenting the boys with the first sash the junior lodge has ever worn in a parade. I also thank Stephen Coulter for the photographs.
Thank you again, L.O.L 781 WM Jordon Coulter.
