We're looking forward to this year's Hagbourne Village Produce Show. We had a great time there last year! It's open to Didcot residents so make sure it's in your diaries and come along for a fantastic day.

It's that time of year again! Save the date in your diaries for the Hagbourne Produce & Craft show - Sunday 6th September πŸ₯•πŸ«›πŸ… What have you all been growing and making so far this summer?

Didcot Allotment Society is run entirely by volunteers and like many organisations we would welcome new committee members, their ideas and skills.

Specifically, we would like to increase representation from New Road and Mereland Road, although not a prerequisite.

Typically, committee members meet for four, two-hour meetings a year, held on mutually agreed weekday evenings. Volunteers take away tasks to complete within agreed time frames and ideally they will be able to attend the AGM & plant sale held on a Saturday morning in May and then the second plant sale of the season, usually a Saturday morning in June.

If you would like to find out more about volunteering with us please email; [email protected]

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our 2026 AGM and our first plant sale of the year.

An extra special "thank you" to those who grew and donated plants to the sale.

We would love to see photos of your successful crops later in the year.

It is great to have gained some new followers recently, welcome! πŸ‘‹

This is a reminder of our AGM this Saturday at Didcot Civic Hall. Our popular plant sale will open immediately after the formalities.

We will be greatfully accepting donations of plants to add to our sales tables. If you do have anything to donate please bring them to the Civic Hall from 09:45.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Some of the DAS committee met this evening and finalised plans for the AGM and plant sale on Saturday 16th May at Didcot Civic Hall.

The stats show that nearly 60% of existing DAS members have already renewed their memberships for 2026, thank you!

For those wishing to renew, without interruption to benefits, monies must be paid by Thursday 30th April - please arrange a bank transfer - account details can be found in the recent newsletter or on the website.

Alternatively you can pay us in person at the AGM where we will be able to accept cash and card payments.

Full details and membership forms can be found on our website if you would like to become a member for the first time.

Job for the weekend!
A reminder that our group order will be sent to King's Seeds in mid-October.
It would be helpful if Therese (17 Barleyfields) receives your order (from their 2026 catalogue) and money in good time before then.
