Apparently, it is not all glamour prepping TS2 for Europe…
We were going to bring you a suitably heroic photograph of Andy fettling TS2 ahead of the 10C trip.
Andy felt a little context was required:
“It’s not rugged brutes wielding heroic breaker bars like long swords, with artistically oiled arms slathered in artisan grime.
It’s sitting quietly on a wall, washing petrol through gunk with a toothbrush until the part is clean. It’s reaching for the wrong spanner every time. Dropping the nut. Losing the funnel.
It’s not visual. It’s not picturesque. It’s cracked fingers, filthy nails, and the slow erosion of the human spirit.”
So here, instead, is the rather less glamorous reality.
Fingers crossed there will shortly be rather more driving and rather less toothbrush-based engineering.
We’ll be following the preparations and, all being well, the journey itself - here on the official TR Register channels. Follow along for the next instalment.
