I guess it is time to start all those winter jobs. I think many of us will be somewhat jealous of your team approach to doing the tough stuff - a great inspiration though.

Its not all glamour.

Evie is hard at work scraping away the sixty year old oil-tar bitumen coating from Galahad’s wings. Not the prettiest job, but necessary before fitting underwing shields.

Restoration isn’t always about the shiny bits.

We always love seeing people applying some TLC to a TR.

🎉 40 years of TRGB - and it all started with a TR4 in the back garden! 🚗🔧

Back in 1986, Triumph enthusiast Gary Bates started TRGB, with the parts business beginning by dismantling a TR4 in his back garden.

Most of us attempting that would probably end up with a mountain of spare parts, a project that never quite gets finished and some explaining to do at home. Gary managed to build a business! 😁

Fast forward 40 years and TRGB has become one of the familiar names in the Triumph world, with its workshop, bodyshop, restorations, parts and classic-car sales.

We're delighted to count Gary and the TRGB team among the TR Register's long-standing friends and supporters.

More recently, TRGB sponsored our historic TR2, TS2, and helped with its preparations for Andy and Evie's epic Ten Countries Run across Europe.

It's wonderful to see a business built on genuine enthusiasm for these cars continuing to support the wider Triumph community four decades later.

👏 Congratulations to Gary and everyone at TRGB on 40 years!

🚗 **Great cars, great company and plenty to talk about at the NEC!** 🤝

The countdown is on to the Classic Motor Show at the NEC Birmingham, 13-15 November, and the TR Register will be there!

Whether you're a long-standing TR owner, thinking of buying one, or simply love classic cars, we'd be delighted to see you.

🎸 A different kind of TR5! 🚗

Some of you may have come across The TR5's - a terrific retro band playing 1950s skiffle and early 60s rock 'n' roll.

I really enjoyed hearing them at this year's Goodwood Revival, and we've recently been in touch. It turns out their name really was inspired by a love of classic Triumphs, although none of the band actually owns a TR5 - yet!

If you fancy supporting them, they've got albums on CD and vinyl, plus some rather good T-shirts.

How could we not give a repost to this, given the bands name and their heritage honouring on of our beloved cars. TR5 great taste. But more than that I heard them at the Goodwood Revival and they were great - love their music. Keep it up guys.
