🏓 A new chapter for Derby Community Table Tennis Club!

From 1 September, we’re excited to call Derby Leisure and Events Venue (DLEV) Fitness Centre our new home. 🎉

Hi everyone, Jonny here 👋🏻

This Saturday 25th July, Meg and I are running a 10km inflatable obstacle course in memory of my Dad who we sadly lost in March 2025.

We’re running the course to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who were a massive help to Dad whilst he was ill.

We’ve already raised over £700 which is incredible but we’d absolutely love to reach the £1000 mark!

🏓 JUNIOR COACHING 🏓

Hi all,

The Wednesday 6-7pm junior coaching sessions will pause through August to allow our coaches a well deserved break and refresh!

The last session before the break will be July 29th and the first session back after the break will be September 2nd.

Junior members are of course still welcome to attend the all comers sessions throughout the coaching break.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Derby Community 1st Team player Diana Rusinova, who won the Latvian Nationals Ladies Singles over the weekend alongside 3rd place in Ladies Doubles! 🏆

We are absolutely thrilled and proud that Diana has been part of our club over the past few years, bringing incredible talent, dedication, and inspiration to everyone around her. A huge shoutout also goes to our 2nd Team players, Jonny and Megan, who traveled to Latvia with her to coach and support! 🇱🇻 🇬🇧

Diana’s success is a brilliant inspiration to all our players, showing what’s possible with talent, hard work, and passion. 💪✨

🎄Christmas Closure 🎄

Hi everyone,

For 2 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, from Monday 22nd December to Friday 2nd January inclusive, there will be no junior or adult coaching, and no 'All Comers' sessions.

Club members with special access privilege may continue to play but will be responsible for building security, heating, and lighting. Please remember to check for open windows, and that the heating and lighting is all turned off.

Our final organised session will be the 'All Comers' sessions on Friday 19th December.

Organised sessions in the New Year will start on Tuesday 6th January with 'All Comers' 1-3pm.
