What kindness is shows to celebrate one of the happiest days of your life and donate any gifts you might receive to charity 💖🙏 Blown away as always 🥹 Huge congratulations to Ella and Ben, who raised £2181 for the foundation when they got married last month. They shared how since becoming parents to their son Finnian and with family members who work or have worked in the NHS, Evie’s foundation felt especially meaningful to them. They wanted to ensure that children and their families receive the best possible care then they need it most and asked for anyone who wanted to contribute a wedding gift to make a donation to Evie’s charity as that gift. Kindness like this means so much and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together. Your donation will make a huge impact and we are so incredibly grateful

This is the most beautiful story to be able to share with you all 🙏 In January, the King’s Paediatric Conference brought together consultants, trainees and the wider paediatric team to share knowledge, spark lots of fresh thinking and allow clinicians to make meaningful connections

That same event, raised an incredible £3,000 for the foundation which will now support more paediatric professionals with their own education journeys. How lovely is that? 🥹

A huge thank you to the 2026 organising committee TEDF Hero, Lucy Pickard Sullivan, Pankaj Agrawal, Nia Williams and Lauren Hettiaratchi and everyone who helped make the conference possible. A conference dedicated to learning for so many and £3,000 gift to help that learning continue is truly kindness coming full circle and everything Evie would want her legacy to be 💖

We have been running events with the incredible Rocksalt Group a few years now and whether that’s their incredible lunches Rocksalt Restaurant & Bar in collaboration with The Sporting Club or through their monthly quiz The Radnor Arms Folkestone or their fun filled bbq pit stop at our annual work, they are always doing what they can to help us raise more funds and spread awareness of the charity.

This November, we are part of another special event, a lunch with the inspirational Sam Warburton where you can enjoy a three course meal, sparkling reception, photo opportunity, a fantastic charity auction and a live Q&A. With only 17 tickets left, this event has been an exciting one to be a part of!

We thought you might like to see just how many Heroes have been directly sponsored from these events alone. There are 16 talented clinicians all from different fields of paediatrics but all with the same goal. To give the best possible care and be at the cutting edge for all the children they look after. In a recent survey we did 90% of responses said they could not or probably could have not undertaken their training without our funding.

That means, if you have attended one of these events, you have quite literally shaped the very deserving future of 16 talented clinicians. There are still a few tickets left so join us if you can, it promises to be a great afternoon

A massive thank you to Nikki and Jacob who ran the AEPG Great Eastern Run last weekend for a third time! They raised an incredible £825 and we are so grateful for their ongoing dedication and support. Your fundraisers mean so much to us and Evie would be delighted to know so many are continuing to take on challenges in her name

We are absolutely delighted to be in partnership with for their Christmas issue this year, with a feature about the charity to enjoy when you pick up one of these too. They are kindly donating a percentage of their advertising to the charity from their Christmas addition and of course supporting us in getting the word out there about all the work we are doing here at TEDF.
