Despite the weather ☂️ there were still enough folks who turned up at Greater Anglia earlier today to tackle the overgrowth at the old goods yard.

The master plan is to turn it into a usable area for Darsham Country Centre and the community. The centre is a charity who owns the land and the old station building and is part of Woodcraft Folk.

Annette, who runs the centre, is also the volunteer station adopter, AND she makes excellent tea, coffee and cakes, much appreciated by those who stopped by today!

The group made a start but lots of brambles and nettles still need clearing, trees need chopping and some concrete broken.
