We are sorry that the Cupar Children's Gala will not go ahead this June as previously hoped. The Gala is run by the two Primary Schools in Cupar, Kilmaron school and supported by the Cupar Rotary Club.

This postponement is due to a number of unfortunate circumstances that cannot be helped.

We are excited to get going with Gala activities in the new school session from August. Keep an eye out and get involved!

At last night's meeting club president Willie Nicoll was pleased to receive a donation of £4,250 from St. Andrews Quaich Society. This money will be used for a future water project. In the past water projects have included getting piped water to a village situated high in the mountains of Nepal and providing water to a school in Uganda.

Pictured are president Willie, Quaich Society members Lindsey, Molly and Peter and Quaich Society mentor and Cupar Rotarian Vince Fusaro.

What a great night at the Howe of Fife Rugby Club rooms last night. 23 teams, lots of fun and a close run competition. The winner of course was End Polio Now with £1,058.65 raised on the night which will eventually become over £6,000 with match funding from Rotary North of Scotland District 1010 and further double matching from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Well done to Mario Panetta and his team for organising this great night.

In 1985 there were c. 350,000 cases of wild polio worldwide. So far there has been just one case in 2026.
