Well… that’s our wee holiday in Stonehaven over. We were so lucky with the weather, enjoyed the Stonehaven Harbour Festival, the Aberdeen Arts exhibition, strolls, ice cream and lots and lots of chat!
And now- it’s home for a rest! Thanks New Adventurers for a fun few days!

Well done Stonehaven New Adventurers- 8 km walked today, along the beach in Aberdeen, up and down Union Street, and around the bay in Stonehaven! A busy day… ending with a delicious dinner in the Ship Inn( our next door neighbour!) followed by a cool promenade around the harbour! Home now, jammies on - and a wee bit of telly!

New Adventurers are all off on another short break- and this time we have stumbled across a real gem in Stonehaven. Everyone is amazed at this wee house with views over the harbour!
After we arrived and unpacked, had a cuppa and then went for a stroll before dinner, watching surfers in the bay - which must have been freezing!
A nice day all round!

New Adventurers had a smashing day out today, enjoying an open top bus tour around Glasgow and a wee visit to the Transport Museum. The sun shone, the tales from bus host Niamh fun and interesting - and it was great that this tour took us into new areas which we hadn’t visited before

After a wee break New Adventures are back in good form yesterday with a planning meeting (thanks Katy Extra), with all sorts of wonderful schemes being discussed! We now have a full programme up to Christmas - with activities as varied as Ice Hockey, glass painting, concerts, movies, tram rides - to name but a few- oh and 3 holiday breaks too!
It’s going to be busy! 😂

A wee midweek outing took us to Burntisland this evening. Trophy of the day goes to Marianne for her dodgem car driving skills! Absolutely terrifying to all the other drivers!! 😂😂
