I have nominated Aruka with Andy Mac for the SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for this amazing charity based in Freedom City Church Cumbernauld also based in Motherwell but this award is for work done in our Cumbernauld community.

Andy Mac the founder of Aruka goes above and beyond in everything he does in our community we work in partnership together with Tony's Safe Place working with Andy for over a year and half now with addiction services and rehabilitation for so many young men and woman struggling with addictions.

We have so many people running into our services wanting to take there own lives due to the severity of there addiction through pain, trauma, debt ,poverty and so much more my first port of call will always be Aruka and Andy Mac .

Andy is so selfless in everything he does, I've had him out late at night chasing people about to stop them from relapsing or trying to make sure they make rehab the next day, he's done house calls to make sure applications are completed to secure rehab placements, house calls to check on someone's mental health, he has taken family members all over the country to make sure they see there loved ones England ,Wales & Scottish rehabs,he does aftercare that goes above and beyond any working hours I could honestly go on and on he does it all with no praise wanted or needed beacuse thats who he is selfless beyond words 🙏💪

If you could please take 2 minutes out your day to put Aruka through for the Provost's awards & explain a little what Andy Mac has done for our community🙏saving so many lives that I've lost count ❗️

Addictions is a big part of all our lives it effects everyone we have so many fallen 😇 angels ourselves so this something very close to our hearts 🙏🪽🤍
