A Voice Shaped by Folk, Americana and Classic Songwriting
Hollie Rogers draws from a lineage that blends folk, Americana, and classic singer-songwriter traditions. Comparisons to artists such as Carole King and Joni Mitchell highlight her focus on melody and lyrical clarity.

Her music centres on songwriting first. She builds arrangements that support the story, rather than overwhelm it. As a result, her work feels grounded and direct.
Moreover, her vocal delivery sets her apart. Nick Mason described her as having an “amazing voice,” while Suzanne Vega called it “magnificent and powerful.” These endorsements highlight both her technical ability and emotional range.
In addition, her Cornish roots bring a distinct perspective to her writing. Her songs often reflect personal experience, shaped by place and observation.

Building a Career Through Live Performance
Live performance has been central to Hollie Rogers’ rise. She has supported a wide range of established artists, including KT Tunstall, Suzanne Vega, Midge Ure, Paolo Nutini, Ben Howard and Ralph McTell.

These opportunities have placed her before diverse audiences across the UK. Each performance has helped refine her stagecraft and build a loyal following.
Furthermore, she is no stranger to major festivals. Appearances at Glastonbury, Black Deer, Cornbury, The Great Escape, Boardmasters and the Isle of Wight Festival underline her versatility as a performer.

Whether performing solo, as a duo, or with a full band, Rogers consistently delivers sets that rely on strong songwriting and vocal presence.

Festival Collaborations with Elles Bailey and Beth Nielsen Chapman
In recent years, Hollie Rogers has continued to develop her recorded output. Her work includes two studio albums, both of which received strong critical attention.
Her EP work, produced by four-time Grammy nominee James McMillan, earned a five-star review in The Sun. This recognition reflects both the quality of the production and the strength of her songwriting.

Looking ahead, her upcoming material continues to build on these foundations. She has been working with a range of respected collaborators, including Jamie Lawson, previous festival headliner Beth Nielsen Chapman, and this year’s Friday Night headliner Elles Bailey and Robben Ford.

These collaborations suggest a project that blends UK and international influences. They also point to an artist continuing to expand her creative range while staying rooted in songwriting.

Additionally, her single selections have received strong support. One track was chosen as BBC Introducing Track of the Day, while her music has been playlisted across Caffè Nero stores worldwide.

Recognition and Industry Support
Hollie Rogers’ work has attracted attention across multiple areas of the industry. She received four nominations at the UK Blues Awards 2025, highlighting her crossover appeal within roots music.

Her connection with Bob Harris has also been significant. Known for championing emerging talent, Harris invited Rogers to record a live session at his studio. This endorsement places her among a select group of artists recognised for their songwriting.

Moreover, she was selected for The English Folk Expo’s Artist Mentorship Programme. This initiative supports artists with strong potential, offering guidance and industry connections.
Songwriting remains central to her identity. Her participation in retreats led by Chris Difford reflects her commitment to developing her craft.

Critical Reception and Artist Perspective
Critical response to Hollie Rogers has consistently highlighted both her voice and her songwriting. Reviewers often focus on the clarity of her delivery and the strength of her material.

“Reminiscent of Carole King and Joni Mitchell. Amazing Voice- Nick Mason( Pink Floyd)
“A magnificent and powerful voice”, Suzanne Vega

A Strong Presence in the UK Roots Scene
Hollie Rogers occupies a unique position within the UK music landscape. She moves comfortably between folk, Americana, and country spaces, appealing to a broad audience.
Her association with BBC Introducing has helped bring her music to a wider audience. At the same time, her consistent touring has built a dedicated fanbase.

Importantly, her collaborations with UK and international artists highlight the interconnected nature of the modern Americana scene. She represents a generation of artists who draw from multiple traditions while maintaining a clear identity.

Music for Men. It's not just for men and it is not always music. Cromer Community Centre is starting a new project. Every Friday from 2pm to 4pm it is an opportunity to come and listen to Music or maybe listen to a poet. It is free and anyone can drop in. Maybe talk about your favourite music or the last concert you attended. We will be getting record decks so a chance to spin your own vinyl and be like a DJ. Some weeks we will be inviting local artists to come and play. We are starting on Friday 8th May, the first day of Folk on the Pier with local artists. Why not come and drop in and find out what is going on. There will also be refreshment available.
