Open Door has had a very busy, productive day today. As well as the usual Monday morning Coffee, Catch up and Chat that many members enjoy after the weekend, we also have a group of members who like to knit and crochet blankets, jumpers, cardigans etc for various charities. At the moment they are knitting and making Comfort Cushions for the Ridgeway and GWH Breast Support Group, to help to bring comfort to breast cancer patients. Well done ladies and a BIG thank you to you all. In the afternoon our Seated Exercise Group enjoyed Seated Zumba, great fun, great music and great for our bodies - oh yes....great refreshments afterwards as our reward!!

Woweeee another wonderful musical Tuesday at Open Door. Alison joined us again for a morning of singing, foot tapping and dancing to suit all abilities, absolutely great. This was followed by our Summer Buffet Lunch with quiches etc and strawberry meringues made by our Star Baker, Chris.
Thank you Alison and OD volunteers for planning a super day for everyone.
Alison is singing at The Swindon Arts Centre on Sat 25th July, 2 30 and 7.30 as part of 'West End Broadway Hits' in aid of The Prospect Hospice. Why not go along, have a Saturday night out and support our local hospice?

On Tuesday we welcomed Alison, who entertained us with her fabulous voice and super personality. Alison is a friend of one of our volunteers, who suggested we invited Alison and we certainly weren't disappointed. Alison got us singing, clapping and dancing. It was a wonderful afternoon and we look forward to welcoming Alison again.
We have super events taking place over the next few weeks - young visitors from St Sampson's school, a cream tea, pub lunch, invitations to watch both Cricklade schools' end of year productions and another Techie Coffee Morning. Super duper times ahead!

OPEN DOOR HAS LOTS OF GOODIES - TOYS, JIGSAWS, FABULOUS CUSHIONS, GARDEN TUBS ETC AND OF COURSE - STAR BAKER, CHRIS WILL BE THERE WITH ALL HER CAKES, SCONES, BAKEWELL ETC. COME ALONG, THERE'S COFFEE/TEA TOO.
