A big, big Thank you once again to everyone who attended our annual Macmillan Big Coffee morning and open day. Despite the weather conditions we had a brilliant morning. Once all the funds have been counted, we will send an update.

The Mayor of Crewe was delighted to attend two wonderful community events over the weekend.
The first was a fundraising event at the Brookhouse Drive Allotments in support of St Luke's Hospice. The Mayor received a warm welcome and enjoyed a tour of the allotments, seeing first-hand the incredible work that has gone into developing both the plots and the surrounding grounds. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the day, and the barbecue was a great success.

On Sunday, the Mayor attended Bentley Manor Care Home's Cultural Celebration, joining staff, residents and guests for a vibrant and enjoyable event. The warm hospitality, diverse range of cultural foods and opportunity to celebrate and share different cultural identities made it a truly memorable occasion.
The Mayor would like to thank everyone involved in organising both events and for the warm welcome received throughout the weekend.

Another successful open day and bbq at the allotment today. To date the figure we've raised is just over £1100 (final figures will be released early next week). A big, big thank you to every tenant and visitor to our site today who's helped make this another successful day.

The sun is out so another beautiful day on Saturday as we open our gates once again to the community.
We'll be putting away our gardening tools for a few hours to celebrate our harvests over a well deserved cuppa & cake plus a hot dog or burger. We'll be open from 10.30am onwards. There'll be a raffle and fresh produce. All welcome so please do spread the word for us and bring a friend or two.
