🛒✨ Sally and Jodie hit the road once again with our much loved tuck shop trolley!

Each week, we bring the shop directly to our village residents and tenants, stocked with favourite treats and everyday essentials. The best part? Our little shop is built around the suggestions and wishes of our wonderful residents, making it a true community effort. ❤️

The tuck shop is about so much more than shopping. It creates meaningful engagement, encourages independence and choice, and provides opportunities for connection and conversation along the way. One of our residents proudly supports the tuck shop rounds as part of their valued role within the village, helping to serve others, share a smile, and bring a little joy to each visit.

It’s amazing to see how something as simple as the tuck shop can foster purpose, inclusion, and community spirit. 💕🚶‍♀️🍬☕

A special thank you to Darren, one of our lovely support workers, who brought in a World Cup trophy for everyone to experience. It created so much excitement throughout the household, with smiles, laughter and plenty of shared joy as everyone came together to enjoy the moment.

It’s these special experiences and the happiness they bring that make memories to treasure. Here’s to enjoying the football and cheering England on together! 🎉⚽🏆

☔🌸 A rainy day didn’t stop us hopping on the Belong minibus and heading off to Bridgemere Garden Centre!

Residents enjoyed browsing the shops, taking a trip to the aquarium, and finishing the day by treating themselves to some beautiful flowers to brighten up their balconies. 🌼🐠🪴

It was a lovely afternoon spent with friends, sharing smiles, making memories, and enjoying each other’s company. 💕✨

Following on from our Move it in May campaign, our village gym has remained busy as customers have been putting the pedal to the metal for the SilverFit International Mile Challenge. 🚴

Supported by our in-house exercise specialists, our customers have been exploring the sights of the UK, Europe, and rest of the world (the choice is theirs!) via cycling.

The more they pedal, the more they see - the goal is simply to pedal, no matter the ability, so it's a great way to get moving on our specialist equipment, which is even adaptable for wheelchairs users.

We are very proud to have the gym available to our customers - not many care facilities can offer what we have, and we have seen remarkable results (big and small) it can yield.

It’s always a pleasure to welcome Simon, who never fails to entertain and educate us with an informative talk about his amazing animals and birds. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get up close, ask questions, and learn more about these fascinating creatures.

🌟 BIG BELONG CREWE WALK 🌟

Our wonderful residents are taking on the Big Belong Crewe Walk once again! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️💙

What started four years ago as a way for residents to be involved in fundraising has become a special annual event that helps support the activities, events and experiences they love.

Every penny raised will go towards providing meaningful engagement, person centred activities and opportunities that bring our community together.

We would be so grateful if you could support us by sharing our fundraising link or making a donation. No amount is too small the smallest donation can make the biggest impact. 💙

If you’d like to lace up your walking shoes and join us on the day, please get in touch with the village – we’d love to have you with us!

Residents, staff, family and friends will be seeing how many miles they can complete before ending the day with a picnic by the lake and a well earned ice cream. 🍦☀️🧺

We are delighted to be welcoming the Deputy Mayor from Crewe Town Council to join us for this special occasion.

🌟 Mature Movers! 🌟

We are delighted and incredibly grateful to have secured funding for our wonderful Mature Movers sessions for the next couple years.

Each week, we have the pleasure of welcoming Lydia, who leads our participants in engaging and enjoyable chair-based dance sessions.

Chair-based dancing offers many benefits for people living with dementia, including:

💜 Encouraging movement and physical activity
💜 Supporting coordination and mobility
💜 Stimulating memory through music and rhythm
💜 Boosting mood and confidence
💜 Reducing feelings of isolation by bringing people together socially

These sessions are filled with laughter, music, movement, and meaningful connections, creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.

We look forward to many more weeks of dancing, friendship, and wellbeing through our Mature Movers programme. 💃🕺✨

Our very own Jess Butler, the village's Experience Coordinator, has landed a finalist placing at the Housing with Care Awards 2026! 👏🤩

She is up for the Activities Coordinator Award, which recognises people who are proactive in developing activities, engage and encourage tenants to reduce isolation, and demonstrate utilisation of outside resources, including those within the local community to deliver positive outcomes.

Those who know Jess will know of her unrelenting dedication in making the village the special place it is, for everyone, and her hard work ensuring that our apartment tenants are very much part of village life.
