π¬ Today's Quote
Your gift cannot be lost. But it can be neglected. The choice is entirely yours.
π Scriptural Focus
1 Corinthians 7:7 (KJV)
βFor I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that."
A gift is anything received on the platform of favour. By definition a gift requires no effort, no earning, and no merit on the part of the recipient. From this we can conclude that you possess far more gifts than you may currently recognise. Your life is a gift because you did not earn your existence. Your body and all its functionalities are a gift. Your ability to sing, write, communicate, build relationships, identify business opportunities, create, invent, or make people laugh is a gift. None of it was earned. All of it was given. And all of it carries a purpose far greater than your personal enjoyment of it.
A gift is given to pleasure, upgrade, and give an individual a specific advantage in the affairs of life. A gift makes you relevant. It creates opportunity for prosperity, impact, and contribution. When a gift is received and used it becomes a source of blessing not just for you but for everyone around you. The greatest gift you have received as a child of God is the gift of salvation. It is unparalleled and unmatched. It is the trigger for every other gift heaven can bestow on an individual. With salvation comes the full package of heaven's generosity poured into a human life. And from that foundation every other gift finds its greatest expression.
Receiving a gift is one thing. Using it is another matter entirely. We have seen through Scripture that the gift of salvation has appeared to all men and yet not everyone has received it. And even among those who have received it, there remains the question of use. Receiving is never the end of the story. A gift only fulfils its full purpose when it is put to work and begins to create value for yourself and for others. Paul told Timothy not to neglect the gift he received when hands were laid on him. Neglect is not rejection. It is simply the failure to use what you have been given. And the tragedy of neglect is that the gift remains fully intact and fully available while the bearer continues to live below their potential.
This is the word of God to you today. Paul said in Romans that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. God does not retrieve what He has given regardless of your past disposition or character. Whatever gift He placed in you is still there. It has not expired. It has not been reassigned. It is waiting. If you will make a decision today to begin stirring up that gift, to put it to use at whatever level is available to you right now, you will set in motion a process that upgrades your standard of living and opens doors that no human connection could unlock. A man's gift makes room for him. Not his education alone. Not his background. His gift. Stir it up and let it make the room.
π₯ PROPHETIC INSTRUCTION
Hidden in your gift is the opportunity for a better life. Begin to use it today and watch it create room for you in places you never imagined.
ππ½ CONFESSION
God did not give me an inferior gift. As I stir up my gift and create value for others I enjoy success, prosperity, influence, impact, and fulfilment. My gift is making room for me and I am walking through every door it opens.
