❤️ Crediton, you really are something special. ❤️

As the harvest donations have poured in over the past few weeks, we've been absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of our wonderful community.

We know that times are tough. The cost of living continues to rise, and many households are feeling the pressure. Yet, despite the challenges, you continue to show up for one another, giving what you can and making a real difference to people who need a little extra help.

To every school, church, business, community group, family and individual who has donated, collected, organised or delivered food this harvest season, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Every tin, every packet represents more than just a donation. It represents kindness, compassion and a community that genuinely cares about its neighbours.

We are incredibly proud to be part of this community, and even more grateful for the trust and support you continue to show us.

Crediton, you've reminded us once again just how wonderful people can be. Thank you. 🙏

We might be sounding like a broken record, but we just can't stop saying THANK YOU! 💚🍂

The wonderful Harvest donations have continued to roll in this week, and we're so grateful to everyone who has organised collections, donated items or helped get those donations to us. Your generosity really does make a difference!

Despite all this kindness, there are still a few gaps on our shelves, so we're sharing this week's most-needed items below. 👇

If you're able to pop an extra item in your shopping basket, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps! 💚

How are we in October already?! 🍂 And somehow, we’re still being treated to a bit of lovely sunshine! ☀️

We’ve been absolutely blown away by all the wonderful Harvest donations that have been coming in over the past few weeks. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated – it really does make such a difference. 💚

This week, our shelves are looking particularly low on toiletries and cleaning products, so if you’re able to add an extra item to your shop, we’d be incredibly grateful.

Here’s what we’re most in need of this week 👇

🟠 Mens deodorant
🟠 Toilet roll
🟠 Laundry pods
🟠 Washing up liquid
🟠 Size 7 and 8 pull up pants
🟠 Tinned potatoes
🟠 Long life fruit juice
🟠 Tinned custard

If you can help donate any of these or other in-date items, you can drop them off in our collection boxes at Tesco, Morrisons, Lidl, Mole Avon, Tesco Express or Spar. Please share this post with any local groups you feel may need to get this message

Throughout October 2026, we’re proud to be supporting Crediton Foodbank by collecting food donations to help local families in need. 🥫🥫

We’ll have a dedicated donation space in the farm shop, so while you’re visiting us, please consider picking up an extra non-perishable item to donate.

Every tin, packet and contribution — big or small — can make a real difference to someone in our local community. 💛

We’ll be collecting throughout October, with all donations being gathered and delivered to the food bank at the end of the month.

There are two ways to take part in the Crediton Sponsored Sleepout on Friday 9 October.

You can join us at Crediton Football Club, where everyone will sleep under cover and close to the toilets. Hot drinks and snacks will be available during the evening, with bacon rolls in the morning.

Alternatively, you can hold your own sponsored sleepout somewhere safe at home, such as in your garden. This can be a lovely way for families to take part together and start conversations about the importance of having a safe and secure home.

Friends and family are very welcome. Anyone under 18 taking part at the football club must attend with a responsible adult.

However you choose to join us, you will be helping to raise vital funds for local people facing homelessness and housing crisis.

For us, it will be one uncomfortable night. For someone without a safe place to live, there may be no warm home to return to in the morning.

When we take part in the Crediton Sponsored Sleepout, we will have the reassurance of knowing that we are safe and that it is only for one night. In the morning, we can go home, have a shower, get warm and cook some food.

We are not pretending that one night can show us what homelessness is truly like. But it can help us reflect on the realities faced by people in our own community, while raising much-needed funds to support them.

Join us at Crediton Football Club on Friday 9 October.

🌾 Harvest is a wonderful time to come together and share what we can with others in our community.

If your school, church or community group is planning a Harvest collection for Crediton Foodbank, we would be incredibly grateful. Our current needs list shows the items that would be most helpful to us at the moment, from tinned food and breakfast cereals to washing pods and pet food.

Every tin, jar and packet helps us provide practical support to local people who are finding things difficult.

If you are planning a collection or would like any more information, please contact Helen on 07740 202721 or email [email protected].

Thank you for helping us gather in a Harvest that can be shared across our community. 💚

On Friday 9 October, members of the Crediton Foodbank team will be swapping their beds for sleeping bags and cardboard at Crediton Football Club, and we would love you to join us.

The Crediton Sponsored Sleepout will raise vital funds for Crediton Foodbank and CHAT’s Springboard Project, helping local people who are experiencing homelessness or facing a housing crisis.

We know that spending one night sleeping out cannot recreate the reality of homelessness. But it is an opportunity to pause, reflect, start important conversations and raise money that can make a genuine difference here in Crediton and the surrounding area.

Could you join us?
