Homeleigh Garden Centre - Crediton have great cakes!

We had a lovely time at today's Cancer Support Group, where we welcomed Gen Ottaway from ELF to learn more about our group and what makes it so special.

What an incredible group of people. The support, friendship, and understanding shared each month really make a difference.

If you have received a cancer diagnosis, or you're supporting someone who has, this group is for you. And if you know someone who may benefit from coming along, please help spread the word.

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at Homeleigh Garden Centre, Crediton. And yes... they do serve great cake too! 🍰💜

It's this week! Our second holiday craft drop-in of this summer will be on Wednesday 26th August from 10am to 1pm - children can design their own treasure map with invisible ink and make peg doll pirates while you browse books 🏴‍☠️📜🪙📚️ No booking required, just turn up.

It was great to see everyone that attended our cancer support Group at Homeleigh Garden Centre cafe this morning.

If you are currently receiving cancer treatment, or supporting a family member, partner, or close friend through their cancer journey, our Cancer Support Group is here for you.

Join us for a friendly, welcoming space where you can connect with others who understand, share experiences, find support, and access helpful information.

Whether you want to talk, listen, or simply be among people who "get it," you'll be warmly welcomed.

Our next meeting is on 2nd September.

Crediton Youth Service has now closed for the summer, but our friends from Space Youth Services will be in Newcombes Meadow (Park) every Wednesday afternoon in August, from 12pm to 3pm. Register direct for free activities and a free hot lunch.
