Vintage tractor purchase.
Hi, I’ve been asked to post this enquiry to see if there is anyone selling a vintage tractor and topper.
Message reads :- Hi, we lived near Horsebridge, Tavistock. For 44 years and up until 2 years ago, kept ponies and horses on our 2 fields. I’m an old car enthusiast. Now need an old tractor and topper to maintain the grass.
Do you know of old tractors looking for a good home.
I would prefer a 1960s — 1970s MF.
Cash available.
Regards
David Rogers.
Anyone interested please contact me

Hi, I’ve been asked to advertise this jones bailer, before it’s sold for scrap. The farmer says it seems a shame to scrap it.
Would make a project for someone.

Club meeting Wednesday 15th October. Tonight’s meeting was a talk and presentation by Chris Pyle who works for Rundle & Co Agri. A Massey Ferguson Tractor agency, with branches in Winkleigh, Launceston, and Penryn.
Chris delivered an interesting presentation about the company, and the history of Massey, Harris, and later Ferguson tractors along with some slides and videos.
Everyone received a lovely Massey Ferguson key ring in a presentation box.
Also club member Robin Tapp won the raffle prize, which was a limited edition model of Massey Ferguson M8 Platinum Jubilee Tractor, presented by Chris Pyle. Well done Robin.
The next meeting will be our AGM on Wednesday 19th November.
Cheers
Steve.

Hello, big thank you to everyone who braved the weather today, after the storm last night. As it happens it wasn’t to bad heavy showers in the morning. But no rain during the road run, most of the tractors had cabs, a couple of die hards with no cabs !
October Gas Up last event of the year, before most of the tractors & engines are put away for the winter.
Good chance for a catch up with friends over a pasty and cake. Thanks to Tina & Joe the catering team.
Cheers
Steve.

New members always welcome.

We meet every 3rd Wednesday evening of the month at Morchard Bishop village hall.
We hold two ( ploughing ) working days each year, one in the spring and one in the autumn. Not ploughing matches ! Nobody’s judging. Just an excuse to have a lovely day out, and give the tractors some work.
We also have our annual Gas Up. At Morchard road in October where we have members bring their tractors and engines for a social afternoon. We go on a small local road run for about an hour and half, before returning to the Morchard Road for refreshments and a raffle.
If you would like to join or find out more information, please contact me on
07720 856315.
Cheers
Steve.
Club Secretary.
