Hi all, there hasn't been any interest in having a 'Goodbye' session tomorrow, so it will not be going ahead. We are therefore officially finished - which feels strange (and a bit sad!) to say!

This will therefore be my last post here (at least for now!). Please see my previous post for a more thorough sign-off - but once again, thank you all, take care, and best wishes with your next steps 😊

Hello everyone.

I am sorry to share with you all that I have made the really difficult decision to stop running Crediton Musical Theatre Choir. This is due to continued low numbers and the choir making a financial loss (that I personally have had to cover), amongst other reasons.

I have loved seeing you all each week, and hearing your lovely voices together in harmony. It's been so nice getting to know you all and having a laugh together! I am SO grateful to everyone who has attended the choir, and to all who supported it from afar - thank you. I truly appreciate your support.

We have two options: we can either leave choir there (at least for the foreseeable future) or we can have one final 1hr session this Wednesday to go over the songs we've learned so far and perhaps do some karaoke, to say 'Goodbye'. I will put a comment on this post about this session - please like it if you would attend, so I can have an idea of numbers.

I am sad to say 'goodbye' to the choir and those of you I have got to know over the last few months, but will always remember it fondly. I will, however, never be able to listen to 'Seasons of Love' again!

Tonight we will be finishing 'From Now On' (I hope!) and starting with a new song about a word - a word that you heard (it's got groove it's got meaning) 😉☺️

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️

Hi Everyone, I'm really sorry but I have made the tough decision to cancel choir this week, as we already struggle for numbers and lots of people are going to the Exeter Sing Space free taster session: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/GDLw4eHDx5JUmG3A/ . I hope that you all have fun!!

Choir will resume on the 25th September. Please note that I will sadly have to cancel choir if we continue to have low numbers as we are not currently covering costs, and are limited in what songs and harmonies we can do with such few people. This project has been 'my baby' so I really hope not to have to do so - but we will see what happens on the 25th. Thank you to all who are supporting us either by coming along, donating, or just providing moral support.
