Wistanstow Smithy Shop - Community Shop Association We are a community shop selling all the everyday essential items, along with delicious local produce, fresh fruit & veg, cakes, greetings cards and stamps.

Based in the old Blacksmith's shop, we are a small community shop serving the village of Wistanstow and surrounding communities. The shop is run entirely by volunteers who are always ready to stop for a chat to customers and we have a noticeboard for events, services and items for sale. Although small, the shop is well stocked and we encourage customers to ask us to supply anything they require. I

n addition to selling traditional convenience items including sweets and drinks, we offer a range of Fairtrade and ecologically produced goods. We aim to source and market local produce (including home produce) such as bread, fruit, vegetables, eggs, honey, apple juice, jams and pickles. We also have a range of greetings cards made by local artists.

From Monday 1st December, we’re donating 5p from every 4 pint bottle of Mawley semi skimmed milk to Birmingham Children’s Hospital 🫶🏻

It’s a place that means a great deal to our family and we will always be grateful for the incredible care received ❤️‍🩹
