If you are looking to report an animal in distress or a Welfare Concern please contact 0300 1234 999 In return a pet will offer fun, friendship and loyalty.

The RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre is situated in the countryside with lovely sea views and surrounded by open fields and woodland, which provide a wonderful location for the rehabilitation and physical enjoyment of the animals. You will find us near Colwyn Bay in Conwy, North Wales, just off the B5113 Llanwrst Road, and a short drive from the A55 coastal road. What we do

We provide specialist care for domestic and farm animals, and we often treat wildlife before release or transfer to dedicated wildlife centres. We spend a considerable amount of time with our animals getting to know them so that we can assess the kind of home and lifestyle they need. Then, when they are ready, we make every effort to find them a suitable home. Rehoming

At any one time we are caring for over 100 animals at the centre. Our animals are looking for someone to offer them a loving home, to be a friend and look after them. Funding

It costs the RSPCA over £1,300 a day to run Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre. We rely entirely on kind donations from people like you. If you would like to support us, or you have room in your home and in your heart to take on a rescue animal, please pay us a visit. If you would like to contribute in other ways, we also operate a volunteer programme and foster scheme. We look forward to seeing you. Regards

🐾🩷 LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME 🩷🐾

Lovely lady Snowy is still searching for her forever home, could today be her lucky day? Snowy weighs 22kg and is around 3 years old.

Snowy was a much loved dog and arrived into our centre as her owner couldn't fund life saving surgery for pyometra. Her owner made the difficult decision to sign Snowy over so that she could get the treatment she needed in RSPCA care which she received urgently in one of our hospitals. 💔🏥

After her surgery, spay and microchipping, Snowy joined us at our centre to start her rehabilitation journey. Snowy is an affectionate girl who adores spending time out and about with the people she loves. She is quick to build trust in new people and LOVES new toys!! 🩷

Snowy has never been destructive with items that aren't hers, but does enjoy de-stuffing soft toys offered to her. 🧸 She is clever at learning new things and knows how to sit and come back for some treats. She walks on a harness and lead and can pull when excited so will need a home happy to trundle with a girl of her size.

Snowy is a social butterfly and loves greeting new friends. She could live with another friendly dog pending a meet at our centre.

If Snowy sounds like the staffy you've been searching for please complete the attached form at the bottom of her profile https://www.rspca.org.uk/local/bryn-y-maen-animal-centre/findapet/details/Snowy/ANI15926/rehome

You may have seen gorgeous and cheeky Isabella on our page and website before, we are shocked that she's still with us and hasn't been snapped up into her forever home yet! 💔

Isabella is a beautifully natured 5 month old kitten who has been with us over 2 months now. She was quite poorly on arrival, but she recovered well with the TLC of our team and is now thriving 🥰

Isabella's perfect home looks like:

🐾 A home where she will get lots of attention
🐾 She could potentially live with other animals in the home, providing gradual introductions are made.
🐾 Children of any age, as long as they're comfortable with typical kitten playstyles!

If you feel this affectionate and playful little lady may be the girl for you then we would love to hear from you, please complete one of our application forms linked below:

💕 Looking for my family 💕

Meet cutie pie 🥰 Katniss, a playful lady who is sure to bring joy and love to a family 👨‍👩‍👦. Katniss found the cattery scary when she arrived and spent her time hiding away, a kind family offered to look after her in foster to build her confidence, and help her search for her forever family 🐱. As you can see, she has definitely landed on all four paws 🐾 in her foster home. All that's left is for Katniss to find her forever home.

Katniss' fosterer has said "She is like a kitten, everything is new to her and she absolutely loves playing, she also loves company and will just sit by you as you relax. Katniss loves her food and this is the way to her heart, especially dreamies!"

If you have a Katniss sized hole in your heart and home ❤🏡, we would love to hear from you! Please don't hesitate to fill in the form below, and our team will reach out to you.

🏠 LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME 🏠

This mischievous little lady is Isabella! 😍

Isabella is a very energetic kitten who loves to play, she does have a gorgeous affectionate side to her and will turn on the purr motor when she's curled up on your lap - but the way to this girl's heart is definitely through play! 🥰

Isabella's perfect home looks like:

🐾 A family who will adore her for her purrs and also her cheeky quirks!
🐾 Isabella could live with other pets, providing they are cat friendly and slowly introduced
🐾 Children of primary school age (Isabella is currently learning that hands aren't toys so children will need to be comfortable with a kitten's crazy playstyle!)

Isabella is spayed and up-to-date with her vaccinations and flea and worm treatments.

Isabella was unwell when she arrived with us, so we transitioned her to a specialist diet to support her digestion. She will need to continue this when she is settling into her new home.

If you think Isabella sounds like the girl for you, then please complete one of our application forms linked below:

❤ LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME ❤

This gorgeous girl is 6 month old Matilda 🐈‍⬛

Matilda is a very affectionate purr-machine who adores being around her people 🥰
Like a typical kitten, she has bundles of energy and would love for a family who are happy to provide lots of play sessions! ❤

Matilda's perfect home looks like:

🐾 A family who are looking for a tiny black ball of love to give lots of attention to!
🐾 Could live with other pets, as long as they are cat-friendly and introduced slowly!
🐾 Children of primary school age (as kittens do, Matilda is currently learning that hands aren't toys so any children will need to be comfortable with cats & their play-styles)

Matilda is spayed and up-to-date with her vaccinations and flea and worm treatments so she is ready to go home and settle in ❤

When Matilda arrived, she was quite unwell so she has been transitioned to a specialised diet to support her digestion. She has made improvements over time, but she will need to continue this when she is first settling into her new home.

If you feel that Matilda is the perfect little lady for you and your home, then please don't hesitate to complete one of our application forms linked below:

❤ HAPPY ENDING ❤

You may have seen Wybie on our page before, living his best life with his forever family, well we have another gorgeous update nearly 2 years on which makes us so happy to see that we wanted to share! 🥰

"Just wanted to give a little check in about Wybie.
He has really settled into country life and is loving it here with us. He loves playing in the fields and trees, and often joins us (of his own accord) when we walk the dog.
I must say, he is quite the hunter - proudly lining up the bigger kills outside the kitchen door (including a mole and a woodpecker!)

He has just had his latest heart scan with the vets, and they are happy that there have been no structural changes, and he is doing well.

Thanks again for bringing him into our lives ❤️"

If you can offer a loving home to one of the cats in our care, just like Wybie's family have, then please complete one of our application forms and a member of our team will be in contact with you within 10 days:
