Huge thanks to who brings in amazing amounts of shopping to support our clients Always with beautiful smiles 😁. This will make a big difference to people without recourse to public funds and newly arrived asylum seekers who are often placed here with no means of support at first.

There are a range of these animatronic ‘pets’ out there and one of our clients needs one. Usual cost is around £150 which she cannot afford.

She is a survivor of domestic abuse for most of her adult life and although she is now free from this she lives alone and only her RAMA befriender sees her. She is desperate for a pet but cannot have one.

Health is a massive issue and prohibits her going out much so one of these to keep her company at home would be wonderful.

Donations to us via our local giving would be so appreciated - quote CAT- but also if anyone has one we can have that is no longer in use even better!

Thank you for your continued support.

RAMA has been supporting a brave survivor of domestic violence who recently escaped an abusive relationship. After months of hardship and uncertainty, she has finally been granted indefinite permission to remain in the United Kingdom.

Sadly, her mother in her home country is critically ill in hospital.

Because of the abuse she endured, our client has no savings and cannot afford the expensive flights needed to return home. ✈️

How you can help: We are raising funds to help cover the cost of flight tickets so she can support her mother during this medical emergency and say her final goodbyes. If you are able to help, please consider donating. Even a small amount helps.

Please share this post to help us reach our goal.

When donating, please write “MOTHER” so we know the donation is for her. 🙏

One of the biggest unmet needs for asylum seeking clients with health isues is getting to and from appointments - often with specialists in London. Living on either £9.95 in a ‘hotel’ setting or £49.18 in disperse accommodation train tickets are out of the question.

Even if they can claim back they often have no bank account for this transaction to be credited to them and still need the money upfront to be able to reach the appointment. Last year we supported clients in NE Essex (which has one of the highest densities of disabled asylum seekers in the country) to the tune of £7,623.

Inequalities and unmet needs force people into exploitation and crisis so we are always going to try to support. Your donations make all the difference. You can find the link to donate in our bio.
