This supports our charitable objects and our aim to secure Waddow for future generations to enjoy. 👋 Meet Lewis – one of our Waddow instructors!

Hi, I'm Lewis. I'm happiest when I'm outdoors, especially on the water. Whether it's canoeing, kayaking, or exploring somewhere new, I'm always up for an adventure.

When I'm not paddling, you'll usually find me climbing, out on a long walk with my dog, or hitting the road in my camper van in search of hidden gems and beautiful places to stay. I love making the most of weekends away and discovering somewhere I've never been before.

I'm easy-going, enjoy a good laugh, and appreciate great company. If you love the outdoors, spontaneous adventures, Waddow is the place for you!

Exciting news! 🎉 Did you know the Waddow campsites (Firth's Fell, Hilltop, Horseshoe, Wadeshill) are open for uniformed groups this year! (sorry, no private/public groups yet!) We'd love to host your late-season camp. While the Girlguiding website isn't yet updated, WAC and WHT confirm Waddow is an approved site 🏕️🌳

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Arnside Guides to Waddow Activity Centre for a few days 🌲⚜️

From finding their way through Nightline to reaching new heights on Jacob’s Ladder, the Guides threw themselves into every challenge, working together, building confidence and having plenty of laughs along the way! 🧗‍♀️🙌
