The WHT trustees have just completed a very busy weekend at Waddow.
With Storm Boelo howling outside, we focussed on (amongst a lot of other things) reviewing and agreeing the WAC pricing for 2027 for uniformed groups, giving feedback on some amazing future WAC plans and organising a special event in 2027.
The prices will soon appear on the WAC website and 2028 bookings will be held at 2027 prices (when booked in 2027). In addition, WHT continue to provide grants for groups, which makes booking Waddow for your future residential great value. The forms are on our website. waddowhalltrust.co.uk

🐝✨ Happy National Honey Day! ✨🐝

Today, we are giving a massive shoutout to the hardest workers in nature—our incredible bees! 🌻💛

Right here in our beautiful corner of Lancashire, we are so lucky to have incredible green spaces where our pollinators can thrive. In fact, a huge shoutout goes to the busy bees foraging around the historic grounds and woodlands of Waddow Hall in Clitheroe! 🏰🌳 The rich local flora there makes for some truly spectacular, unique local honey.

Did you know that to make just one jar of honey, bees have to visit millions of flowers? Every jar of local Ribble Valley honey tells a story of our neighborhood's flowers, soil, and changing seasons. Unlike mass-imported blends, raw, local honey preserves all the natural goodness and supports the biodiversity right here in our community. 🏡🌸

🛒 How you can celebrate with us today:
• Buy Local: Support a neighborhood beekeeper and taste the difference of real, pure honey.
• Plant for Pollinators: Add some bee-friendly flowers like lavender or borage to your garden to help our local hives.
• Spread the Love: Tag your favorite local honey producer in the comments below!
Let's protect our pollinators and sweeten our day the natural way. How are you enjoying your honey today? 🍯👇
