This is the exact moment the cast realised some of you STILL haven’t bought tickets even though the show is next week… and yes, they are prepared to send Donkey door‑to‑door if you don’t.

The chaos is rising. The vocals are fierce. The cow‑print shirt is working overtime. And the cast of Shrek the Musical is READY to storm the Princes Theatre swamp — but they’d really love it if you were in the audience rather than being hunted down by an overly enthusiastic Donkey.

💚✨ MEET PRINCESS FIONA — OUR NOT‑SO‑TYPICAL FAIRYTALE HEROINE ✨💚

Gabrielle has been part of CMTS since she was 6 years old. She has been in almost every show- apart from the ones she was too young for!

Alongside CMTS Gabrielle has been in several shows with the (formerly known as) West Cliff Performers and West Cliff Youth including taking on the roles of Sandy in Grease and Julia in The Wedding Singer!

She absolutely loves theatre and adores the feeling of performing on the stage. She is so excited to play Princess Fiona in this brilliant musical and hopes she can do the team proud. She can’t wait to perform with the talented cast of Shrek and bring Fiona to life!

💚✨ MEET SHREK — OUR BIG GREEN LEADING MAN ✨💚

Chris is thrilled to trade the rock arena for the swamp as he steps into the boots of Shrek! For years, Chris toured the UK and internationally, fronting a successful Guns N’ Roses tribute band, where he became known for channeling the powerhouse vocals and high-octane energy of Axl Rose.

After more than a decade-long performing hiatus, Chris missed the stage and decided to return and push himself well outside his comfort zone by diving headfirst into musical theatre. His theatrical journey kicked off in monumental fashion when he landed his ultimate dream role as Jesus in the epic rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar.
From there, he went on to make his debut with CMTS, rocking the house as Dennis in Rock of Ages.

While swapping leather jackets for layers of green prosthetics makes Shrek his most creatively challenging and family-friendly role to date, Chris is loving every single minute of the transformation.
From rock god to misunderstood ogre, he is incredibly proud to bring this much-loved character and story to life and hopes you can kick back, forget the outside world for a few hours, and enjoy the show!

We are incredibly proud to be bringing this brand-new pantomime to the stage, written by two long-standing and much-loved members of our society, Steve Salmon and Keith Peck.

At CMTS, we believe theatre is about so much more than performing. It is about encouraging creativity, nurturing new ideas, and giving our members the opportunity to bring their artistic visions to life. Whether that's on stage, behind the scenes, in the orchestra pit, directing, designing, choreographing, or writing, we are passionate about supporting and championing the talents within our society.

That's why we are so excited to present Oz – The Pantomime, a fresh and imaginative take on the beloved Wizard of Oz story. Celebrating the traditional tale while embracing the many adaptations that have captivated audiences over the years, this promises to be a magical adventure full of laughter, music, heart, and plenty of pantomime fun!

Steve and Keith will also be stepping into the director's chairs, leading the production from page to stage, and we cannot wait to see their vision come to life.

💃🧅 THAT’S A WRAP ON CHOREOGRAPHY! 🧅💃

After months of dancing, planning, counting, laughing and probably saying “5,6,7,8” a few thousand times… choreographers Lauren and Amy have officially completed the choreography for CMTS’ production of Shrek the Musical! 🎭✨

And what a way to finish… with a VERY hot final choreography session! ☀️🥵 Of course, no final choreography session would be complete without some very important helpers… honorary mini cast member Nora (who made a fabulous 3rd Blind Mouse!), alongside furry rehearsal companions Chewie and Larry! 🐶💚

With just the final couple of numbers left to teach the cast, we cannot WAIT for you all to see these routines brought to life on stage at the Princes Theatre! From fairytale chaos to swamp-tastic fun, this show is packed full of energy, comedy and dance numbers guaranteed to have audiences smiling all the way home! 🐉👑🫏
