Today, Monday 15th June, we raised the Refugee Nation Flag to mark World Refugee Day (20th June). We were joined by members of Chipping Norton Amnesty Group and the Charlbury Refugee Action Group, who shared thoughtful reflections alongside the Mayor, Sandra Coleman.

World Refugee Day honours the strength and courage of refugees and encourages public awareness and support.

Today also marks the beginning of Refugee Week, an arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. For more information, visit: https://refugeeweek.org/
