The sun is shining and the garden will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm. Please enjoy this community space. There is rainbow chard and tomatoes to pick - please leave some for others to enjoy.

Little Greens will be back on Saturdays from 11.15 – 12.15, starting on 12th September. Looking forward to catching up with our budding gardeners and planning fun garden related activities for the autumn. If your child would like to join them, please get in touch – email: [email protected].

The garden continues to be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm. There is rainbow chard to be picked, as well as tomatoes and plums - please help yourself but leave some for others to share.

A BIG THANK you to Chinnor Library for supporting our Open Afternoon yesterday. Thank you to the visitors who braved the heat and the volunteers, especially Pam for planning all the activities and to Maureen for the refreshments, who hosted the afternoon.

BIG THANK YOU also to Chinnor Open Gardens for their grant which will enable the garden to purchase outdoor cameras to monitor the wildlife and for children's tools for Little Greens.

Friday 14 August - 2-4pm : Open Afternoon in the garden with lots of activities and storytelling sessions led by the volunteers from the Chinnor Library. There will be shade in the garden and refreshments available. Please note there are no toilet facilities.

All welcome - all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Little Greens Garden Club met last Saturday before the summer break. They collected broad bean and poppy seeds. They enjoyed den making with branches and paper with bubbles, twizzlers, ribbon wands plus snacks and drinks. The session finished with a story corner kindly hosted by Selina, a volunteer from the Chinnor Library. Big thank you to all the volunteers who help with the Little Greens every Saturday morning, especially Pam who organises all the activities.
