🗨️"John and I both massively enjoy coming to Sage House; John in particular. He feels comfortable here and it’s a place where there is no judgement, which is priceless.
It is reassuring to know the staff can help with issues regarding dementia/ Alzheimer’s. For two years we have enjoyed the support and friendships made at Sage House, mixing with everyone experiencing similar circumstances as us. We thoroughly enjoy the History Talks which take place and have attended plenty of these, with another booked for July. The Christmas dinners are great too, with all the entertainment on show.
I feel lucky to have had prior knowledge of Sage House, having brought a neighbour for an assessment before John was diagnosed, and made initial contact with the Wayfinders.
Caroline and the whole Wayfinding team are excellent, and have helped us secure Attendance Allowance, a Blue Badge and a reduction in council tax, all of which has proved incredibly invaluable. Also, John attended the Sage Minds: CST course for approximately 6 weeks, when he was initially diagnosed in May 2024, which I then followed up with a carers course, both of which gave us opportunities with members of Sage House staff to ask and discuss any issues we wanted clarified. We also enjoy the outreach weekly meetings with Emma at East Wittering on a Monday Afternoon.”
Thank you John and Joy for being Friends of Sage House. ❤️It is through regular, monthly donations that we can continue providing our vital services to those families who need it most.
