We have a new Transition project based at the Scarsdale Health Centre Community Garden, off Newbold Road, S41 7PF. The project is called Small Urban Nature Space (SUNS).
Come along and find out more at a drop-in on Sat 13 June, 2 – 4pm:
See the new pollinator-friendly raised beds and find out more about the project. Please note, this is an outdoor event with outdoor seating only, so bring your own drink, hat and sunscreen if needed. No booking required. Enquiries: [email protected]
Later in the month there will be other events at the garden:
Fri 19 June, 10.30am – 12 noon: Nature book discussion - bring along a favourite book about nature, wildlife or wildlife-friendly gardening to share with others, or simply come along to listen and enjoy the garden.
Sat 27 June, 2 – 4pm: Nature journaling in the garden. A relaxed opportunity to observe pollinators, plants and wildlife through sketching, writing or quiet observation. No artistic experience needed and some basic materials will be provided.
