Talks & Tea (November) – The History of Charfield ☕

Different speakers. Different subjects. Something new each month!

For our next Talks & Tea evening - this coming Monday - we're exploring the history of Charfield.

How much do you know about the village, the people who lived here and how Charfield has changed over the years?

Whether you've lived in Charfield all your life or have only recently moved here, come along and discover more about the village.

Doors open at 7.30pm for tea and cake, talk from 8.00pm to 9.00pm.

It's not every day you get a message from an Olympian… or, in fact, any other day! 🦅

We've had a special message from Eddie the Eagle, who's helping us spread the word about The Keepers in Charfield and encouraging more people to come along and see what's happening. It's the real Eddie the Eagle...not AI!

A big thank you to Eddie for taking the time to support what we're doing.

Love reading but find it really difficult to get to the library? 📚

Did you know that The Keepers Library Link can bring library books straight to your door?

Working in partnership with the library in Wotton-under-Edge, our volunteers deliver books to people who can't visit themselves.

Whether it's because of transport difficulties, caring responsibilities, disability, age or other circumstances, this service could be just what you need.

Children's books can be included too! The person registering for the service just needs to be aged 18 or over.

🍬 THE CHARFIELD LITTER PICK

Have you got a couple of hours to spare to help tidy up our village?

Come along to the Charfield Litter Pick on Saturday 7th November and lend a hand!

10am - 12pm

📍 Meet at Charfield Village Hall. Refreshments afterwards if you want to stay.

Gloves, litter pickers and bags will all be provided, so you just need to turn up!

Come along and help keep Charfield looking its best ready for the Remembrance parade and service.....and beyond!

Come along and find out just how much is happening in Charfield! Tuesday 27th October between 4pm and 8pm at Charfield Village Hall.

Local clubs, groups, organisations and activity providers will be there to tell you what they offer. Whether you're looking for a new activity, something for the children or parents or curious about what's happening locally, come and have a look.
