COMPETITION RECIPE FOR THE VICTORIA SANDWICH

All entries for category D10 MUST follow the below recipe.

7 inch Victoria Sandwich Filled with 3-4 tbsp of Jam and dusted with CASTER sugar
3 eggs
6oz (170g) caster sugar
6oz (170g) butter or soft margarine
6 oz (170g) Self Raising

CRAFT & PRODUCE SHOW ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

The show marquee will be in the top field on Pincots Farm.

Pedestrian access is via a public footpath gate into Pincots lane from the Saxon Gate (Linden) estate, then another gate on the opposite side of the lane, which directly enters the show field. Please avoid walking down the Wickwar Road.

Vehicular access to the field will be via a track road off the Wickwar Rd, (what3word location: quality.reinstate.layover).

(A map of the access routes has been published on a previous post.)

Please bring entries to the marquee between 9:00am and 10:00am on the morning of the show for you to display with your entry number, which you will be given on arrival.

Please allow enough time to display your entries, as the tent will then be closed for judging to commence at 11am.

The marquee will reopen at 12.30pm for viewing and the trophy award presentation will be at 1pm.

For information - dogs are welcome to the village show but they must be kept on a lead and away from the animal pens.
