A HUGE congratulations to our choir member Peter for achieving the highest honour in Scouting & also in the Duke of Edinburgh awards! What an amazing achievement, especially as Peter was the only one in his district to achieve these. You've made everyone here at CYM so proud!!

Keep up the great work Peter! ⭐ To see you wear your CYM badge to Buckingham Palace fills us with so much joy!

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our second ex-members rehearsal on Friday night! It was so lovely to see you all 😃

A special shoutout to everyone who travelled from far and wide to join us — from the South Coast all the way up to Northumberland ❤️
It was wonderful to see such amazing love and support for CYM reaching across the country 🥰

Friday night also marked the final rehearsal for Yaëlle Robitzer (flute), as her placement comes to an end and she prepares to return to Strasbourg to begin her Master’s degree. We wish you all the best with your studies Yaëlle and you will be missed by CYM! 🎶

Next Friday is our half term break so we'll see all our members back for rehearsal on Friday 5th June as we continue with our preparations for our 60th anniversary concert 😀😀

10 years ago today we celebrated our 50th anniversary with a concert at Castleford Civic Centre! 🎶 ❤️

The concert was a fantastic success, with members past and present performing for a packed audience.

This glimmer of nostalgia has got us even more excited for our 60th celebrations which will take place Sunday 12th July at Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre!

A reminder to all ex and current members and our patron's that tickets are on sale for early access using the exclusive password you should have received from us!

Not long now until our second ex-members rehearsal!

We'd love to invite any past band or choir members to come and rehearse with us at St Joseph's Primary School in Castleford on 22nd May from 7:15pm

With no large venues remaining in Castleford, it's unlikely we'll be able to invite past members to perform with us during our 60th Anniversary Concert as we have done in previous years, so we hope you're able to make the most of these opportunities instead!
