We know we're not back from our summer break for a few weeks but we couldn't wait to tell you about our joint concert on Saturday 26th September with Castleford Male Voice Choir! 😀

As the leaves turn golden and the evenings grow cosy, join us for a beautiful musical celebration of the season — Autumn in Harmony! 🍁🎵

What a wonderful way to celebrate our 60th Anniversary Concert! 🎶💎

Despite the heat, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, and it was so lovely to see everyone come together to celebrate our special milestone. Thank you to everyone who performed, supported and helped make the evening such a memorable success.

A special thank you to our Secretary, Susan, and our President, Ralph, for their heartfelt speeches reflecting on the choir's journey over the past 60 years. Ralph also surprised us all with a beautiful rendition of Happy Heart, an Andy Williams song that our former President Rodney Green arranged back in the 70s for Ralph to sing with our band. Last night's arrangement was by our very own Dan! It was a truly touching and memorable moment that made the evening even more special.

A huge congratulations to all our award winners, especially those receiving their 5 and 10-year service awards, thank you for your dedication and commitment to Castleford Young Musicians.

Congratulations to Dan on receiving this year's John Dobson award for Band, and a very special congratulations to Cerys, who received the John Dobson award for Choir, for the second year!

This recognition is thoroughly deserved and reflects their development, incredible effort and unwavering commitment over the past year. We are so proud of everything they have achieved.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this incredible milestone. Here's to 60 wonderful years of music, friendship and community, and many more to come! 🎵❤️

We are so excited to welcome you all later today at Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre !! Just a reminder of things to remember for this afternoon's performance! 📣🎶❤️

🚗 Parking:
Members and guests can park in Castlefields car park (WF10 5BH) with a short walk to Carlton lanes entrance.
Disabled parking is available directly outside the market holders car park.

⏰ Start time 4:30pm
Rough ending around 7pm,with an interval

👕 It's predicted to be warm weather so dress comfortably for the heat. Refreshments are available to buy at the interval.

🎁 Amazing raffle prizes to be won. Please note that the raffle is cash only.

🎟️ Entry is via pre-booked tickets. The lovely Susan will be at the door to take your booking name or reference .

🎶 Don't forget former members are invited to join us on stage as we perform Battle Hymn.

👕 We have also set up 2 online auctions with some incredible signed and framed Cas Tigers shirts!
