Roman Day wouldn’t have been the same without the brilliant support of Castleford Camera Club. Their members generously gave up their time on Saturday to photograph families who had been dressed up in Roman outfits by our amazing staff, capturing some truly fantastic moments.

🏺✨ Roman Day has been fantastic!
A huge thank‑you to everyone who joined us today — the costumes, the crafts, the enthusiasm… it all made the library feel like a slice of ancient history brought back to life. The kids threw themselves into every activity, and the atmosphere has been brilliant from start to finish.
