Its almost Friday!!!

Tomorrow we have some well stocked freezers and chiller for your larder needs.
❄️ the 'special buy' freezer is all marked at £1 and anyone purchasing from it will receive a FREE family sized cheese pizza!!

We have some good staple selections and a decent variety of fruit & veg so please pop in and use your membership!

*reminder, you can shop again even if you have already popped in this week. We are and regardless of personal background, we are proud to serve our local community.

☔️ what a dreary day, hoping tomorrow is a bit better as we open 10-1pm for all your larder needs.

Monday was a lively day in Stepping Stones and we thank you for popping in on us.
If you enjoyed your visit and saw other items that would benefit you and your family, please feel free to pop back in and use your membership again!

🍲 We have some really good staple items available that will supplement your weekly shopping, so make use of our selections.

Hi folks,

We are open tomorrow 10-12pm. Just responding to a couple of messages.

The larder is decent stocked and after a busy week previous, we hope to welcome you back to browse our shelves.

*Reminder - as we head into the colder months and as electricity costs rise, we would like to extend a welcome to you to use the larder more than once a week if needed.
*Also, as a partner with Home Energy Scotland, if you are on a prepayment meter and are struggling to top up your meter, ask for Leanne and we will refer you direct for help - a process that takes a few minutes.

Look what we have in store for you tomorrow!!

Leannes been at it again, this time baking the Chilli&Garlic b**r bread! We sell this for only £2 - very flavoursome and best with some Italian pasta!! Which we have on offer for only £2 too 🤩

There are lots of excellent deals to be had alongside our usual staple items. Our freezer is on offer again for only £1 per item and there is tons to choose from.

In the chiller there is 🆓️ mozzarella and houmous, feel free to take with your shopping.

Friday we open 10-12pm. 👋

*still some leftovers in the "OOD" tubs in the doorway - we are simply reducing food waste, this is not typical of our everyday items inside the larder.

👏 What a fantastic Wednesday that was and thank you to all our regular visitors AND our new members signing up!!

It was a fast paced day and despite the rain, we were kept busy all day and we have you to thank!!

Another top up order being placed today for Friday and we hope to welcome you into our Larder.
*reminder - you can now shop up to 3 times if required. We have such a good variety for our various members so make use while you can!!

On Friday we will have 🆓️ Creamfields mozzarella and brioche bread for our shoppers - 1st come 1st served!!

Look how organised we are for Wednesday 👇

IMPORTANT NOTICE -
Having spoken to a few members recently, they explained they are worried about the colder weather approaching and the rising energy bills it brings - rightly so.
Food bills continue to rise and being in the position we are as a community larder, we have made a decision to alter how many visits you can have in a week, while we can, if it helps our members.

In the future we hope to open extended hours, and for now our hours remain the same BUT...you can now shop any day with us, up to 3 times a week as we navigate these tough times of .

Monday 10-12pm
Wednesday 10-1pm
Friday 10-12pm

This is a huge change for us and we will work hard on getting stock levels correct, but our mission was always about providing , being and .

A long productive Monday was had today.

We started with some wonderful donations, thank you so much!!

The larder has been tidied and sorted for now. We have a busy Wednesday ahead with our collections, weighing and sorting - as we await our FareShare Glasgow and the West of Scotland delivery so all go!!

👀 Have a peek at the great stock/wonderful bargains to be had, we look forward to welcoming you in.

On that note....
❄️ THE FREEZER BUYS ARE £1 AGAIN!! fantastic variety and you can buy up to x10 items!
‼️ the DOORWAY has a large selection of items past the Best Before (NO use-by). These items are free to take, but with explicit agreement that it is at your OWN risk.
*we are simply trying to reduce food wastage - this is NOT a reflection of the donated/bought items inside the larder.

As we look ahead to next week, we are preparing for a busy, full-on week...and we love it!!

🛒Next week is our '3-store' collection turn so that means collecting customer donations from the Co-Op &Tesco, and surplus collections from Aldi.
If anyone wishes to donate to the baskets, we are very grateful.

On that note - see our poster below 👇we are looking for a relief collector volunteer for a few weeks while our regular volunteer has an operation. Details on poster.

🧹Big sort out day on Monday once we close, so keep an eye on our page for updates!!

Hi everyone, apologies for the later post, this morning I was too busy listening to the sounds of rejoicing as the kids went back to school!!😂

Now that the little cherubs are back, why not take some time and pop into our wonderful larder and see what we offer?! 10-12pm Friday.

Admittedly we need a good tidy and sort which i will do on Monday, but we have some great selections for you! A bit shorter on fruit & veg this week, but still a choice.
* 🧀 QUARK QUARK QUARK - we have a LOT if anyone can use it in bulk for free! Just ask us. (It can be frozen).

🍞 Today I finally baked my 'B**r Bread' ...it turned out fantastically well and as a treat, will be available to taste tomorrow in the larder while it lasts!!
R.r.p £5.99. Our cost....£2!!! (Garlic&chilli also available)

An important couple of weeks ahead - we certainly will keep you updated 🤩
