Please note that the beneficiary age range is generally up to 18yrs although, groups with those who need additional support are also eligible up to 25yrs.

Oor multi talented Liam has been busy making spiced blackberry jam with the blackberries from the Veteran's Garden.
Official tasters all said it is soooo good! 😋 Great job Liam👏👏 Some jars available for £4 donation at the Garden.

We also have organic pesticide free potatoes £2 a kilo Cabbages, onions , giant sweet onions, courgettes if your quick😉🏃‍♀️🏃

Dawn was out at Kate's Kitchen in Annan today to check out their Old Bank Community Cafe which is just fabulous.

I had a delicious salad and flat bread, the plate was brimming with nutritious fresh food some of which is grown on site and it was really affordable - such good value and a wonderful atmosphere so get on over there! Mon - Fri 9.30am to 2pm!

We will be updating Kate’s kitchen Good Food Story along with more on the cafe in D&G Good Food next newsletter.

📢 The Scottish Seed Hub is doing some research - can you help?

They are currently conducting research to explore ways to encourage more on-farm seed production and variety testing in Scotland.

At the same time they want to find ways to enable people interested in growing their own to support and engage with building a more resilient seed system for Scotland.

They have two surveys live at the moment and if you’re a grower please complete the one relevant for you - and share with others.
