The Sanctuary Castle Vale The Sanctuary is a community-based space operated by The Pioneer Group, located in the heart of Castle Vale.

Compass Support is a community building providing a variety of services to those who live & work in the neighbourhood. We are open from 9am-9pm Monday-Friday and our facilities host a range of activities such as fitness, dance, slimming clubs and more. The Compass Support team includes Family & Employment Support, Health & Wellbeing & the Youth Team. We also have a variety of rooms to hire for parties, conferences, training, meetings and one to one sessions.

Have you heard of our Customer Influence Committee, known as CIC? They're a group made up of predominantly residents who help us shape and improve our services.

They check how well we're doing, especially when it comes to complaints, customer satisfaction, and service standards. They also make sure residents' feedback is taken seriously and used to improve services.

We're on the lookout for residents who like to join the CIC. As a committee member you will:

✅ Help review how we're performing against key standards
✅ Make sure customers' voices are heard at Board level
✅ Ensure customers' voices are heard and reflected in decision-making

💙 Today marks the start of Men's Health Week, which aims to raise awareness of men's physical and mental health, as well as encourage men to seek help and support when they need it.

Small actions can such a huge difference, whether it's booking a routine health check-up, getting more active, or even starting a conversation with a friend or family member.

On Thursday 18th June, between 1:00-2:30pm, the Men's Wellbeing Group is holding a dedicated session on men's health issues and the emotional impact behind them. If you'd like to join the session, pop over to The Sanctuary this Thursday.

🍃 Join Community Environmental Trust for their new nature-based programme for over 50s! 🍃

Their first session starts tomorrow, 1-3pm, at Castle Vale Allotments (B35 7NR). It's the perfect chance to get closer to nature and connect with others.

The programme also provides a safe environment for those living with dementia, encouraging sensory exploration and designed for those with dementia and their carers in mind.
