Give your child the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and get active with our friendly children’s karate classes at Carterton Community Centre.

🔴 _OSTMA Lions_ | Ages 3–5
Wednesdays | 3:45pm – 4:15pm

🔴 _Beginner Karate_ | Ages 6+
Mondays | 4pm - 4:45pm
Wednesdays | 4:15pm – 5pm
Fridays | 4pm – 4:45pm

Our classes are suitable for complete beginners, with a positive and encouraging environment where children can develop confidence, fitness, discipline and, most importantly, have fun! 🙌

We’ve been busy transforming Carterton Community Centre ready for today’s Teddy Bear Picnic Family Fun Day — and here’s just a little peek at some of the fun waiting for you!

Hi all! 🆘

We’re a little short on kitchen roll middles for one of our craft activities at the Teddy Bear Picnic next week.

If you have any spare, please could you save them for us and bring them into the Centre no later than Wednesday 19th Aug 🙏

We can also use clean, dry toilet roll middles, so feel free to save those too ( we just ask toilet rolls are blasted in your microwave for 10sec before dropping them in)

If you’re out and about this evening, don’t forget to look up! A beautiful eclipse will be visible tonight – a lovely opportunity to get the family outside and enjoy one of nature’s incredible sights together.

Sometimes it’s the simple moments that make the best memories. 💙🧡

Another fantastic evening at Carterton Community Centre! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Bingo Night. It was wonderful to see the hall full of laughter, friendly competition and familiar faces, with plenty of new faces too.

Events like these are about so much more than bingo – they’re about bringing people together, making new friendships and enjoying a great evening in a welcoming community atmosphere.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers for helping the evening run so smoothly, and congratulations to all of our lucky winners! 🎉
