The Beavers learned the importance of hand washing.

They put black pepper into water and observed how the pepper moved when adding soap just like washing hands with soapy water gets rid of germs.

And why not plant some cress at the same time and see how it grows.

Scouts finishes shortly after age 14. At 2nd Brize Norton we are currently investigating possibilities for continuing post-14, especially as there are so few local activities available for this age group.

The group would be Explorers, maybe in collaboration with other groups.

Mixing fun with safety.

The Beavers walked to the Carterton Recreational Ground, where they took part in a Green Cross Code relay. During the relay, they discussed the key things we all need to remember when walking safely and crossing roads. They also had the opportunity to play on the zip wire and the swings. Great weather!
