Carlisle Sea Cadets

National cadet week comes to an end so we thought we would introduce the team!

Here at Carlisle Sea Cadets our cadet adult volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and each bring something different to our amazing team.

You don't need to have been a cadet, or served in the forces to help us build a better future for our cadets, as our uniformed instructors are taught the skills they need to deliver our syllabus.

Some of our instructors aren't in uniform but their invaluable knowledge and skills are just as important.

If this is something you would be interested in joining, please contact our page or email [email protected] for further information

A massive belated 18th birthday to CFC Abel. Fortunately we won't be losing him from Carlisle Sea Cadets as he has decided to stay on as an adult volunteer!

A huge WELL DONE!!! To all cadets, staff , UMT and volunteers that help Carlisle Sea Cadets year on year. Our RNP on Monday was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without you all. Everyone looked fantastic and did your instructors, UMT and unit proud!! Thank you very much to each and everyone of you.
And …. A big BZ to our OIC or should I now say CO, on officially becoming the commanding officer of our unit, after completing her Commanding Officers Course on top of everything else she does! We are lucky to have you and you make us proud of everything we achieve.

The 2026 Trident GNAC had pretty much everything: a big fleet, some seriously windy sailing, a few slightly bruised egos, and a pair of school-age brothers winning the whole thing in an RS Feva.
